I have almost nothing on top, and usually go for sports bras with a little padding to give some shape. Does the spider bra have any padding or shaping, or will it just flatten?

@ salubivires: Interesting! I always wondered if there was someone named Brian who did the move first, but the TV character would sound more likely 🙂

I've always wondered where these moves get their names. The Dangerous Brian has to have a story behind it 🙂

The Duchess has a picture up. It appears to be the Flatline Scorpio, but you put your hands on your butt and push up.
The Electric Slide I believe is just a Back Slide to the floor, but I may be off on that.
And I thinnk the Eagle is what Felix Cane is doing here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_abef5Y6SJTM/TJ_R9QTrs-I/AAAAAAAAAbA/1ybvCb3-_ic/s1600/felix+xander+eagle.jpg

MemberFebruary 9, 2011 at 7:18 pm in reply to: Just have to share…LOVE the reverse handspring!I can see why it would be called the Forward Handspring. "Reverse" also makes sense to me, since in the regular Handspring you essentially spring backwards and twist the body into position, whereas with the "reverse" you spring forward and the body is already in position.

and @ Cheaannette: Good to know that they last a long time! I'm a bit worried about how a corset will work for pole dancing, since I'll need to bend my upper body a lot and don't want to worry about the boning. Are the ones you bought soft enough?

MemberFebruary 9, 2011 at 10:16 am in reply to: X-Pert versus New Extreme Super Pole Multi PieceI have an X-Pert, and that's correct. No problems with scraping at all!
If you go with an X-Pert, I would suggest shelling out the extra money for the gold titanium finish. My first X-pert didn't have it, and I slipped constantly. No problems with the gold titanium though!

MemberFebruary 8, 2011 at 8:58 am in reply to: figure head with (patriotic arms?) then what?Aha! I think the Candycane is commonly called the Corkscrew spin! Although I tend to keep my body more vertical for what I consider the Candycane, and with more of a horizontal tilt for the Corkscrew.

I wonder if the Candycane spin I talked about earlier in this thread would also be called the Body Spiral?
