Just stress the point that it is a total body workout that can transform your body and mind. It's a lot cheaper than a gym membership or pole classes and the savings in gas driving back and forth. Maybe offer him something, a nice dance or two, a couple massages, make a coupon book of stuff you'll do "wink" "wink" and give it to him, etc… Oh the fun you'll have and money you'll save by buying your own pole 🙂

I like stilettonation, they don't have a huge selection but they are reasonably priced and great customer service. I had to have shoes replaced and they were on it! FYI, I had ordered from the pinkstilettoshop and never received my shoes, never got a shipped confirmation or anything but they were quick to take the money out of my account. They never replied when trying to contact them, I left multiple messages, emails, and called daily and they still never returned my call. Like over a month after purchasing them, I had to report them as fraud and got my money back from the bank. I had posted about it a few months ago and someone else had problems with them to.

That is weird, are you sure it's a girl or just one person? It could be some con artists or some weird porno people. Hopefully it's just someone that needs to get a life but it could be people trying to make money off you or photo shopping your pics on to porn sites. It's happened…

Also when my husband was helping me, he said he wasn't really doing much and that it was mostly me. Yay!

I'm a phlebotomist and lab client services rep in addition to filling in for our microbiology department as a lab aid. I've been wanting a career change for a while, been doing this for 9 years and am burnt out. Just don't know what to do!

MemberMay 29, 2013 at 10:31 pm in reply to: Think that pain is your Rhomboid? Probably not!Ive had the same problem and the doc said it was a rhomboid strain but the PT said it wasnt either. It's the muscles that attach your shoulders to your ribs like you said. She gave me some exercises to do to stabalize them and get rid of my scapular winging and its helping a bunch and my back isnt nearly as hunched either. You also need to stretch your pec muscles and chest. I do it by standing in a doorway and putting my forearms on the side of the walls so im making a " w" (hands about head level and palms on the wall) then lean forward with your chest without arching your back. Doing some scapular winging prevention exercises and that stretch should help. Never heard of rolfing but i'm going to now! Thanks!

I know you can edit them through i-tunes. I do that sometimes to dance to shorter versions. If you have i-tunes, open up your library and right click on the song you want to change. Pick " get info". Go to the options tab and at the bottom there is a couple boxes that say start time and end time. Select the times you want then hit ok. Then right click on the the song again and choose " create acc version" Give it a couple seconds and the new version will show up right under the original. You can play the song in itunes to see exactly where you need to stop and start. So if you wanted to start the song at a later point then pick the time you want it to start and check the box but keep the end time how it is and check the box. If you wanted to stop it later then do the opposite. If you need to edit it more thoroughly then im not sure but you can edit one version then edit that version etc..You can then drag the new song to your pc library and burn it or whatever. This does not affect the original version and you can delete the acc versions from itunes without it deleting the original. Hope this helps, not sure if thats what you were looking for. Good luck with the comp!

Yeah i'm going to contact my bank. I wrote him an email saying i was going to report him and leave reviews all over the internet if he doesnt respond by next week…I bought shoes from stilettonations and its a small company just getting started and they have great customer service. I had a problem with my order from ups and he replied right away and sent out another pair for free, so i'm going to use them in the future. Not a big selection though..Thanks for the info PlatinumAni, I might give it another week and a half before i go bat shit crazy on this guy haha https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif

Never heard of Writhe pole dance but that would be better for me than kirkland or seattle. Now i have homework!

When i move into my new house, im going to try a space heater and a humidifier to make it warm and humid ( after i paint my walls with mold resistent bathroom paint https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif) and see if that helps. Every time i went to the studio, it was always really warm and about 40-50% humidity after warming up (basing it off hot yoga) and I couldn't even do a spin because i was literally stuck to the pole lol. They were stainless steel poles to.

A quick way to warm up the pole and your skin if a "warm up" isn't working that good is use a hairdryer on it and your self for a few seconds. I don't think it hurts the pole but maybe someone else knows. Just a thought!
