Sair, thx for posting the JB vid – had never seen that one! Dang, that was hot! My 32F's would never fit in that outfit, but I would LOVE to have a booty like that! Oh bootyclap dvd, plz hurry up!

I think Veena's lessons are a MUST! She explains everything so thoroughly…for me, she is my main teacher. Sometimes I just don't "get" something and I search other sources…looking for the "a-ha" word or phrase that makes me "get" a move, but Veena is the master ; ).
I have two of Felix's dvd's and I just ordered two more (impatiently waiting for them and bootyclap). I LOVE Felix's style–she is like no other! I have been using her basic dvd to really polish some moves and stylize them. The way she uses that outside leg (mostly) for momentum…once you "get " that, every spin will be so much more beautiful and elegant. The way she steps into every spin/pose mentally prepares you to make every spin/pose your best.
I was surprised how much was on Felix's floorwork dvd, because – Hello!- she's always flying up and down the pole, multi-tricking (is that a word?…I'm thinking if not, it should be!) And it did have many tips for choreography, performing, and body placement/image polishing, but if you want PURE floorwork, I would consider holding out for Alethea's floorwork dvd that's supposed to be out in May/June of this year.

Another! I started poling after my birthday last year…I’ll be 43 in June. We should all be proud of ourselves!
-
I hope it’s for beginners! A suggested playlist would be great too!

thanks for posting this! Just ordered!

I’ve noticed that I seem to be “aware” of my chest muscles too. It’s kind of a good reminder to engage other muscle groups.

I had my implants about 1.5 years before I started poling 8 months ago. No changes in appearance so far. However, I do feel them more (under my skin surface) as my weight fluctuates. And you will probably appreciate massages more than ever as you progress to more advanced tricks (that require/build more pec strength). Anticipating your next question: I have 700ccs, which is considered large so if you've got your average 350cc or smaller you can probably put your mind to rest that you'll be fine.
Another tip: you may also have to learn to loosen your grip as you begin one-handed spins to lessen the pressure on your chest as you engage that one arm from fingertips to lats 😉

yes-very helpful, thank you! I’ll get some blocks and give them a try.

Do they Place the blocks under the ankles?
