I have the 45 mm chrome and I love it! Sometimes I wish that I had a 50 mm if I ever decide I want to compete because thats the standard size, but I think the 45mm was the best choice for myself since I only pole at home. It’s hard to say what finish is better because it really comes down to personal preference. I have very sweaty hands and sometimes have trouble with my grip on chrome. I’ve heard the TG is "gripper" so if you have sweaty palms that may be the way to go. But like I said before it really just comes down to what your body decides it likes best https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif I’ve only tried the 45mm chrome, and I like it overall.
Good luck! -

I’ve already learned what the beginners know MONTHS ago, but since I’m new to the studio I can’t test out. I have to take THIRTY classes before I can even get into the advanced class and when I sat in to watch they were working on the chopper. I completely understand how it feels to have to start back at the bottom. I’ve decided to just keep poling at home and go to the workshops that the studio offers. Good luck!

seriously ottersocks, YOU should write a book https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I bought the genius of flexibility and don’t really use it because I didn’t think I was doing the stretches right, but you did an awesome job of explaining the concept. I think I get it now!

Wow I can’t believe that commercial!!!! So it’s okay for them to make the green M&M strip around a pole, but its not ok to print a very classy, challenging and completely appropriate image that has a pole in it????
Wow. Speechless.
I just know that I’m never eating M&Ms again. Hypocrites.

I agree with you. I love the song! its fun and catchy and I definitely downloaded it, but honestly whenever I tell someone I pole (and I usually don’t even add dance at the end, I just say "Yeah, I pole! It’s a great workout blah blah blah) first question I get asked is "o, you’re a stripper?" Obviously society isn’t going to change overnight, but it’s songs and publicity like this that add to poling’s bad rap. I did think it was a little weird how everyone was so hyped about this song when so many times we’ve had discussions about how hard it is to defend the integrity of our passion. This song showcases the exact opposite of that. Glad I’m not the only one that feels this way!
