TIKI BEACH POLE– It Doesn't get better than this–SO THERE

Hi Stevesgirl: I am an instructor in Ontario Canada. I have read the thread and just wanted to add my thoughts. A pole also changes with the conditions of the room. Humidity and cold can make a pole almost impossible to play on. Hope this helps. Happy Poling.

Please keep teaching Beginner Pole. You not only will gain confidence, but a new love for the Pole as seen through the progression of new students mastering their tricks from the skills that you have that you are bringing to the room. As for not getting stronger, I have to disagree. Blasting through classes over and over again, move after move, hold after hold, strengthens you more than I can say, and with that , provides strong, tone muscles for you to use to progress in your own poling. The best of both worlds. I know this because I am a Pole Dance Instructor with Aradia Fitness in Ontario and I am 54 years old. Love my Advanced moves and am challenged every day, and teaching my new pole bunnies is a thrill every time I am in the Studio.
Hope this helps, Keep Poling

How about teaching the girls some combo spins. Fireman to attitude, front spin to back spin, the choices are endless, right up to advanced with helicopter spin to gemini or helicopter to basic butterfly, and all the different chair spins. Reverse grab to side plank. For those who are a bit timid about inversions, hours of fun can be had by mastering combo spins.

I am 53 and have been doing this for 4 years. I have been a Pole Dance instructor for 2. So I say "HELL NO" you are not too old for this amazing form of fitness. Just another voice in the many you have received.

I am so glad to hear that. I have popped into your profile and your pole work is beautiful. Please don’t refer to yourself as a beginner poler–your moves are intermediate to advanced and are executed perfectly. You are one amazing pole bunny!! I look forward to more pics and videos from you in the future.
Happy Poling

Hello From Oakville Ontario. My name is MJ and I am an Pole Dance Fitness Instructor for Aradia Fitness Canada.
We have studios all across Southern Ontario Toronto, Brampton Oakville just to name a few. We offer a non-judgemental enviroment, and are so passonate about teaching this amazing form of fitness for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I have been poling for 4 years, am 52 years old. It doesn’t take long to to prove to a group of girls in the room that not only can I fly all over up and down the pole, but it is an amazing kick-ass workout and just love the look on their faces as they see me combo spins, invert, and "rock the pole". Check us out.
