@Baudelaire- I’m so glad to hear that pussycat poles are the way to go 🙂
Arrg, that would’ve been awesome except because i’m in a rental property I’ll have to get a fully removable one. Do you like the brass poles compared to stainless steel? -
@michaelaarghh- I was so happy when I found out that have the option of fully removable now 🙂 Oh, that’s good to know about spinning. The ones we use at out studio spin fast too but I’m still trying to get use to it XD

@skramamme- Thank you so much 🙂 I’ll definitely check on gumtree from now on! I wish I could get one now but we’re moving into a rental property soon :/ Guess I’ll have to wait just a couple more weeks 🙂
-
@Runemist34- Thank you so much for that link! They have a fully removable option now which is super exciting too 🙂

@Casi- I totally get what you mean! I hope my friends don’t see me as trying to convert them all to the dark side, haha XD My one problem is when people judge it. I asked my sister if she’d try it and she told me that she’s just not into “that sort of thing”. When I asked her what she meant she explained that she’s just not a girly girl who wants to look sexy and do bendy stuff D: It’s so much more than that but I just left it. Each to their own I guess 🙂

@babygems- He had no faith, haha! That’s awesome that you have your own pole! I’m hoping to get one in a couple of months so fingers crossed 🙂
-
@babygems- I’m so glad it isn’t just me who’s obsessed, haha. I just can’t believe I waited so long to give it a try!

@BabyDragon- That’s definitely one of the down sides of riding horses, haha. I’ve been thrown up against fences, stepped over and taken unplanned flights into piles of mud XD Due to my current horse being the devil herself and a change of circumstances it looks like i’ll have to give it up though, sigh. But I’m sure pole will be just as addictive and intriguing!
Aww, that’s awesome that you have a supportive wife! I guess I’ll just have to make some more pole friends 🙂
It’s so tempting to drop out sometimes but I don’t think I’d have the physique to dance at a strip club, haha. -
@Casi- Oh no, I hope you recover soon 🙂 I know how annoying it is to be injured and have to miss out on practices and stuff :/
I was so surprised about how quickly I began hooked on pole! I know what you mean! I never even thought I’d be able to climb the pole at first XDOn another note, does anybody feel like their family/ non-pole friends are sick of hearing about it? haha

@Jenn1989- I totally agree! At first I was in awe of all of the crazy advanced stuff which is what drew me to pole. Now, I’m finding it really encouraging to see other people’s progress on Studio Veena 🙂 Somehow, finding this site reminded me that real, every day people do pole and I find it super inspirational. Haha, I totally get what you mean about thinking about routines when people are trying to talk XD
@BabyDragon- Thank you so much for your reply 🙂 I really relate to having tried a lot of different things but never really finding my niche until I tried pole. I was never really a team sports kind of girl, I boxed for a little while, I swam, I sung competitively and I’m still an equestrian.I’m so happy that you’ve found your life long passion and I’m hoping I’ve found mine too 😀 -
Dirdy Birdy! Also, Emy Dawn and Ava Madison are both awesome 🙂
