What a great site! I have a tough time with my stretch marks on the boobs and my c-section scar, but then I think of my sons and it’s all worth it. Cheers to real women’s bodies! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I totally agree! I have learned so much from watching Veena’s lessons. I love setting up my computer in front of my pole and learning all these great tricks! The way everything is explained is really wonderful. Cheers to you Veena! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Welcome! I’m in So Cal also. Everyone here is really supportive. Happy poling! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Strangely enough my other one-handed spins are good. I don’t know if maybe I don’t have the strength to swing my body away from the pole or it’s just fear. I get a pain in the front of my shoulder blade and immediately slip down the pole. I’m going to try and tape myself this weekend so maybe that will help. Thanks to you both for the links, I’ll definitely make use of them. And yes Veena I’m using the online classes, which are wonderful if only my body will cooperate! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Ok I’m getting so annoyed with this spin! I can do pretty much every other spin and most inverts but as soon as I try this my shoulder feels like it’s going to come out of the socket. I’ve seen girls come into my class and do this spin first time. What am I doing wrong? Help! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

Wow how cool it that!? I have an 8 year old and would love to teach him. What approach did you take?
