The measurements you described are perfectly normal, I’m not sure why it would cause your pole to be wobbly. Maybe take a vid or pics and send to x pole customer support to see if they can help you trouble shoot the issue.

Dirty Girl Poletice is by far the best product I have tried for sweaty hands! Dry hands is ok, itac makes me slip worse! Tacky gloves definitely make you stick but no static spins. ☺

DGP is the best for sweaty hands. Glad you’ve been having such a great week. ☺

Can you do the pose by releasing the legs off the pole from a basic invert? If you can, work on reversing the motion, lowering slowly keeping the shoulders/core engaged. This should help with the lift.

Try Dirty Girl Poletice. It’s great for sweaty hands! Cramers firm grip is good for spin pole too but you can’t really do spins with it. ☺

@Vdub I’ve been considering Kino’s Cody app plans for awhile and I know Lucca is interested as well. Do you think they are worth the $$$? How have they helped you and your practice?

Kino McGregor has some programs on Cody app for an Ashtanga Practice. I haven’t bought it but heard good things. I hope to buy it because I love her teaching style. You can see a lot of her stuff on Youtube. ☺

You should try Veena’s 30 day take off. It’s a great way to come back to pole. 😊

@kasanya the version you are talking about is much easier on spin mode over static. ☺ Try it!

It usually just looks like it’s not doing anything but I decided to just leave it for awhile and see what happened and it did work today! ☺

Saving for a quality pole is your best bet. Although you may find a used one cheaper, but sick to X-pole or Lil minx. As far as online learning resources, you’ve already found the best out there. The lessons here are more than worth it. I’ve been paying for them for a few years now and never regretted it. Great for all levels, from Day 1 to Year 10+!

I’ve heard of places that get the students to “sign” their name on the ceiling when they climb to the top for the first time!

Or use your hair dryer! Works great for me (another freezing Canadian).

I should ask my chiro what she thinks of shoulder mounting…Lol. I have never felt like I was doing permanent damage. I hope not, I love my shouldermount. It was one of those moves that I saw back when I first started pole and thought that there was no way I could ever do that!
