Love this! Thanks for sharing.
It's hard to believe that it's the same guy. Besides the obvious weight loss, you can also see his posture improving with every progress photo/video clip. Very inspiring.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE bobbie's girls!!! Besides being gorgeous on and off the pole, who can resist that sexy accent! The hubby and I have talked occasionally about moving to New Zealand, and if it ever happens I will definitely be taking lessons over there. 🙂

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about gymnasts do the same type of exercises. 🙂 Squeeze your butt and push that pelvis forward. Also contract your abs and think about bringing your bellybuton to your spine. 🙂

Mighty grip gloves work well for me when I have uber-sweaty days. I have the fingerless ones, but they also now make a full fingered version. I use tite grip (an antipersperant, not a grip aid) all the time when I pole. I have also recently started using Drysol, a strong antipersperant that you apply at night and wash off in the morning to try to minimize the day to day sweatiness. But as I've just started it, I don't want to comment on it's effectiveness. Hyperhydrosis sucks especially for a poler, but it's not the end of the world. It can be dealt with. 🙂

I recorded my students performing their level 1 routine and gave them each a DVD so they can show off what they have learned. At first they were hesitant to be recorded, but afterwards they loved the DVD's and have showed their families! 🙂

Hey there,
Is this the "old style" x-pole (screw together, top loading)? And how much are you asking if local pickup was possible?

I just used Drysol for the first time last night. I am hoping that this helps me out with my hyperhydrosis. *sweaty fingers crossed* 🙂
@Joyful and Sensualscimitar Are you still using the products you talked about here a few months ago? How is it going so far? Do you still use grip aids/antipersperants/or gloves when poling, or has it completely eliminated the need for them?

Yes, he used his outside foot and rolled over the outside shoulder, turning his hips away from the pole. If you started with the inside foot/shoulder, you would have to turn your hips towards the pole…not sure where you would end up for that one. Maybe rolling "around" the pole to end up on the otherside, it'd be an interesting variation if you could make it work.

Good break down polergirl, I just watched it a few times pausing and unpausing to get a slo-mo version of what he's doing. Like most things, I think it looks more complicated than it really is. Definitely going to try this one!
