You mentioned seeing multiple doctors but you didn’t say what types…are we talking general practitioners? Chiropractors? RMT’s? Sports medicine specialists?
Maybe you just need to try a different type of doctor? Anyway, keep looking for a solution, the doctors say your back is fine but you are the one living with it. Keep telling them it’s not and hopefully you will eventually find a solution. ☺ -
Love you guys so much! 😙😙😙

@Pheonix I’m curious as to how it went with your TG transition in your showcase, and since that initial training period if your opinions on TG have changed at all. Did you “hang it up” after the showcase as planned, have you grown to love it or do you think as AK has said that you might “use it limitedly”?

Oh no! Have you tried calamine lotion, Aveeno makes a nice anti itch cream too. I hope you’re better soon.

@latinpoler I’m so glad you nailed that butterfly. Like everyone has already said the more you do it the more confidence you will build and one day you won’t even think about it anymore!
@phoenix and @mystical I absolutely teach “safer falling” practices but it’s kind of hard to explain here without writing a novel. It does not mean you just let go and fall. 😨 I would agree that that sounds like a horrible idea. What it does means, in a general sense, is to have and practice reasonable emergency exits…slowly, not with the help of gravity. It builds muscle memory that will take over without you having to think about it in the moment. As anyone who has fallen knows, you don’t have time to think about it when it happens. The other thing it means is to practice habits that will help limit injuries if and when a fall happens. Things like tucking chin to chest as opposed to looking at the ground (so you don’t smash your face and break your neck) as well as not locking your elbows when you put your hands/arms out to save you (so you don’t dislocated your elbows or break bones). These techniques and more are proven in the gymnastics world to be important for building confidence and injury prevention. ☺

Where in Canada did you get to visit?

I agree you do have to be careful. NEVER sign anything you havn’t read or don’t want to agree to.

I simply can’t imagine an employment contract saying you can’t have another job. Around here most jobs are part time so EVERYONE has at least 2 jobs!
That just seems strange to me. Why would anyone care if you have another job, regard less of what it is, unless you are in a position where you are on call 24/7. And that just sux anyways.

I don’t know what kind of industry you work in, or exactly what all the laws in the US are but as far as I know your employer CANNOT tell you what you can and can’t do on personal time! That’s why it is PERSONAL. I would really look into this because that is crazy!

Another option would be to set it up like the 30 Day take off. The day you are on comes up automatically at the top of your “home” page. ☺

Wow. How do you even get into that?

Cat crawl, boot scoot, diamond roll, cartwheel, handstand to bridge or splits, splits roll, walking splits, floor body rolls. Not as a combo, lol, just lots of transitional ideas. It’s hard to be specific without knowing the music, how much time you have, your level, your style etc. but I hope that helps a little. ☺

Don’t know if your a member or not but Cleo’s Rock n Pole had a good juliet lesson plus some juliet combos. ☺
