    My pole is 7' and I'm 5'9". When I first moved here I was used to inverting with a few extra inches at the top so I kept kicking the ceiling, but now I'm used to it and I do fine…it is definitely limiting and I'm sure that when I can move again to a place with higher ceilings I'll feel so much more free, but you will be able to get used to it. 🙂 Don't let it be an excuse for limiting your progress (except for with combos, those are definitely limited 🙁 ).
