    Ive noticed it from time to time when im doing a move like the Gemini or Scorpio but not as bad..lol. When i put my calf on the pole and try to hold on, thats when it happened. I dont know it was weird Plus i was coming out of a week pole funk and havent done much excercising etc so that may have been th culprit as well but im buying some banana’s today!

    No, im not squeezing them tight. I noticed it when i was trying to do the scorpio and when i was trying to lock my leg onto the pole. I just asked this guy at my job whose a health nut. He said its similar to when some people work out and after they may get a cramp in the arm, etc. He said to keep a banana nearby and when it happens eat it or some of it, the potassium makes the cramp go away. Think ill try that.

    I was like this last week! I actually posted with the same thing. Ive been poling about three months and i experience burn out i notice when its time for “Flo”..lol. I have no desire to pole, exercise..nothing. Last night, its like my mojo came back and i was back on it. The harder moves, i feel you there. I cant do the scorpio for nothing right now but i keep telling myself I will get it. I couldnt do the Juliette spin and then one day it just happened. I was scared to let myself just go and spin. I did however purchase Veena’s lessons and I must tell you, last night i was learning all types of new things. In her videos, she will even tell you that if you cant execute the move, dont get frustrated..it takes time and everyone gets it in their own time. Like the cradle spin. But watching her videos i got closer to it than i ever have. Just take a pole break. Usually what gets me back into it is Ill watch videos on youtube or certain music i listen too makes me wanna go home and get busy. Your just in a little pole funk right now, it’ll come back and you will get those moves. I promise. Just give yourself time. I have a quote that i have on my desk and I have it where i can see it by my pole. Kind of Law of Attraction based but I love it..”If we do not overcome lifes difficulties in our thoughts, then we can never overcome them in actual experience!”…Just tell yourself you will get it or you got it and it will happen when you least expect it. I promise!

    Yes, my soreness happens the day after. Especially when i wake up in the am. Ive noticed what helps is drinking Whey Protein no more than 30 minutes after each pole workout. I didnt this time and i can tell. Ive done controlled knee lifts before but this time i really had it and boy….i am SORE! But yes, id have her check with the dr. If im on the pole working out, i am not sore at all. Its afterwards. I havent had soreness like this in awhile, i had got kinda of used to it but i am able to get my knees up higher now and hold it up so i am figuring that is what did it.

    Yes, just stiffness etc. I forgot i did controlled knee lifts as well. Ive done them before but was never this sore. I was out of commission for about 7 days due to “Flo”..lol. And just being drained and tired. I guess my muscles got lazy. Think im going to wait another day or so before i do anything else.

    Yes, that was the culprit. Lol. Someone else advised me of that in a group i am in on facebook. About how weak you get, how your skin is so sensitive. I tried to sit today and it was awful. I have been almost in tears the last couple of days. Its like i cant seem to learn or catch on to anything new. I was about to just take my pole down and give up! I havent been to the studio in about a month and half due to sinus infection turned to flu over a two week period, finances, working, family things…uhh, its one thing after the other one. Someone else advised me to, for right now, stop watching videos of people with advanced skills, this can also be discouraging. I dont know. Its like I cant seem to do much of anything. One month it seemed i was progressing now it seems im digressing and its depressing! Lol

    Thank you! Yes, the inner thigh burn keeps me from sitting etc. And trying the superman, its awful. Lol. I did 8 inverts in a row last night. 4 on my left and 4 on my right. I also did it in heels so im getting better. Now im working on hanging correctly as far as having the pole between my knees and thighs. Sometimes i dont have my feet wrapped around correctly but it will come in time. I am just so excited i can finally do it. Took me about 2 weeks!

    Hey! Thank you! I need to get a good webcam. I have digital cameras with record and a tripod so ill see what i can come up with. Ill toy around with windows movie maker and see what i can come up with! 🙂

    Thank you very much! I thought it was just me. I dont have any pole buddies and i have to rely on the internet to find answers. I do feel like im going backwards on some days, like yesterday. I layed on the couch and looked at my pole in despair..lol. I feel a lil better today but I think im going home and just try some excercises and not do anything to spectacular, not that i can anyway. But it just bothers me to pieces when i cant even get the fireman’s spin right!
