So sorry It does not work. You can view the site and the pics but there needs to be some sort of flashplayer pluggin That isn’t automatically there. I wouldn’t know how to go about getting it but I’m sure there’s a way. Maybe if you Google flashplayer for Xbox one explorer app it will work. You can watch YouTube and stuff tho.

Ok yup 🙂 the studio I learned at called it cross leg recline it was my favorite move before my tailbone started acting up. Now that it’s removed I’m home I can back to doing laybacks soon!

Make sure that their teaching styles and your own mesh well. Make sure you enjoy teaching. I know it sounds odd but in some environments teaching doesn’t give you the opportunity to grow only to teach others. Make sure you don’t out your own pole journey on hold to fill their need. Make sure it also fills a need for yourself. When you stop enjoying it back off and concentrate on why you love pole and what you want to learn. I guess I just want you to remember your own journey along the way and not put it on hold just to help others with theirs because you might lose you way altogether. It didn’t happen to me when I was teaching. I loved it but I know it ruined pole for some other instructors I know so I just wanted to caution you because I know the thought of sharing pole this way can be so exciting that you can forget all about what you want to learn while you’re thinking about everything you want teach others. 🙂 Good luck!

The best help I can think of that it’s more laying the pole vertical between you calf and thigh than it is putting it in you knee. Let yourself sink into the grip and you won’t fully feel it until you lean back. Good luck!!

Yes Veena it’s been a long road. Before my first surgery I was teaching two beginner level classes on sat and attending extreme classes 1-2x per week. When I finally healed just enough I went back to my class for 2 weeks before I found out I had to have another surgery to remove the tailbone and I’m just starting to think about getting back to it now again. Hard to go from 3 days per week for 2 yrs to nothing 8 months :/ I need to rebuild All my strength. Which used to be a source of prude so it hurts to not be able to climb the way I could or do pull-ups with ease. All in time I guess.

I tried one rosin type and didn’t care for it. I’ll try to remember to take pics and upload for you later what I’ve tried and how they’ve worked for me 🙂

I need to get started again… I have had 2 surgeries this year. Jan 9th and may 11th. I had my tailbone removed in the last surgery and I am just getting to the point I can sit for a while with a cushion. First chiropractic appt is monday. Hoping he can adjust me so I can move a little less stiffly and I will feel comfortable doing some stretching and light conditioning for starters. I was working handspring to brass monkey when I left off. I can’t wait to get back to it. I have been able to a cross ankle or hooked leg recline for almost 2 yrs because of all of this so I’m really hoping with it go e I can get back to working on those types of moves /combos soon. Would love some motivation! I don’t know much about posting progress videos or anything like that yet and I have instagram but don’t have a clue how to us it! Any tips welcome!
