I did soooo much rolling this evening, trying out so many muscle groups. My whole body feels more relaxed than it has in รขโ‚ฌยฆ gosh รขโ‚ฌยฆ maybe even months?!! I’m going to sleep so well!

I seriously don’t know I got so far through my life without knowing how awesome these are.

I may have to start a religion based on this thing, going door to door introducing people to its wonders. ‘Hi, I’m from the church of Foam Rollers and Latter Day Exercise. Can I interest you in some rolling?’

I’m coming to this late, but I hope to start tomorrow.

I have a few questions, if someone could please help me with answers. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1) Can I do this ab challenge completely on its own and still get good fat burning going on? I’m trying to get fitter/slimmer using my wedding in 6 weeks as a short term goal, so I want to make sure I’m getting the best exercise possible to achieve this.

    2) On rest days, I’d feel like I was wasting my time doing nothing! What can be done on rest days that is resting, but still beneficial to the body?

Okay, so I got one. I was a bit shocked by the price, but OMG!!! Now I know what you’re all raving about. I am in love with this thing!

I gave it a quick go on my back, mainly on one side of my spine before my two-year-old stole it from me, and by the time he was ready for a nap and I decided to have a nap with him, I realised that side was no longer sore.

I thought it was too good to be true, so I had a quick go on the other side of my spine before lying down for my own nap.

Wake up, and my back is almost completely better!!

This thing is amazing! I’ve been putting up with this aching back for days! And now it’s better!

I feel I need some more exclamation points because I’m THAT excited about this.

    !!!!!!!

So, reading this thread has made me wonder if I need a roller.

I’ve been taking my exercise up a notch (I’m getting married in 6 weeks and my dress is a little tight over my belly) and over the last few days I’ve been suffering a lot: my back is so sore and uncomfortable pretty much all day. I’m sure it’s muscular.

Plus, I was showing off to a friend a week ago (oh, the things we do when showing off) and I managed to invert three times. The third time, I felt my rib connect with the pole and it’s been hurting ever since. I’m almost certain it’s just bruised rather than anything more serious.

Add to this, my avid breastfeeding two-year-old who likes to sleep-feed on top of me in the night, so I feel really uncomfortable half the time when I’m sleeping.

So this foam roller thing will help to massage out the soreness, is that right?

I’m up to day 10 today and I’ll be increasing to 2 minutes and 2 seconds.

I’m still enjoying it. I set mine to easy, because after 3 years of inactivity, I wasn’t sure if I could cope with making it harder for myself.

On the days that there’s an increase of 10 seconds, I’m really feeling it, but on the days that it stays at the same time, I can actually feel it getting slightly easier than the day before. That’s exciting! ๐Ÿ˜€

Okay. It did seem to be an intentional thing, and that reasoning makes sense.

I’m often hurrying around between the various lessons trying to fit in my workouts before my two-year-old gets bored and drags me away (or starts hampering me enough with climbing on/under me so that I can’t continue). I really need to sit down and have a proper explore around the site.

    Thanks for the reply. ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually, related to this, I do have another question.

When I’m on a video and then go to view one of the video thumbnails featured below it, the original description remains, and the description for the new video doesn’t appear.

How can I get the description to change so I can read the info about the new one that I view?

Yep! In all honesty, if I could only access the lessons on my laptop, I’d never get a chance to do the exercises.

I take my phone into the pole room, and I do my exercises there. And I often move the phone around on the floor, table, etc, to wherever I can see it better as I move into different positions.

So yeah, if it wasn’t for operating so well on mobile platforms, it would t work for me.

    Thank you so much. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Good to know. Thanks!

Speaking of mobile versions, thank you for ensuring that mobile users have access to everything we need. So many sites don’t have mobile access, or they do, but it’s very limited, or the full version just works really ineffectively on the mobile. I rarely get time on my laptop, so being able to do my beloved StudioVeena exercises on my mobile (and be involved in discussions) is so very awesome.

The more time I spend here, the more I enjoy and appreciate it.

Thank you for the replies! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think part of the issue is that I’ve only ever accessed the site via my mobile phone, and I guess it looks a little different from it.

Whenever I’m on my laptop I’m working, so I tend not to look at anything else.

I might have to take a few minutes to look around the site on my laptop to see if I’m missing anything.

*nods* All very valid points you make.

Especially the ‘out of nowhere’ comment; I’ve had only one StudioVeena video do it again since my initial forum message, and it happened in the middle of several other StudioVeena videos that played perfectly. So รขโ‚ฌยฆ yeah. LOL!!

Thanks again, especially for all the detail in your reply. ๐Ÿ™‚
