Good to know! I was trying curious about that, and trying to decide if I should purchase from the phone or from the website.

Anzia I hope you feel better soon! Take care of yourself. It’s been a few days since I’ve checked in. On Tuesday I had my 2 hours class. Wednesday I did the SV 30 Day. Thursday I needed to rest. Friday was a 1 hour class. Today I’m going to a Spinny Pole class and will do conditioning this afternoon. So excited! I’ve been on static all this time, just played a little on spinny, but now I’m ready to get serious about learning.

I’m new to this thread, but THANK YOU! I need to be accountable! Today I finished day 3 of the 30-Day Take Off. I’m tired of getting down on myself for not being as good as my classmates, so I’m doing something about it! More exercise, more practice. I did day 3 which is upper body. I did knee tucks, pikes, and straddles, to work abs and eventually improve my inverts.

Aerial inverts. One day I did it nearly 10 times in a row, but now I maybe get up once every 10 times I try. So frustrated.

I have large thighs, and even loose skin on my thighs. I love the CAR. In my classes, I think I have an easier time than the ladies with skinny legs. Runemist34 has great tips. I'd emphasize to start low on the pole until you don't slip. Keep you thigh muscles tight. Keep those knees turned in. Since I have some loose skin from a major weighloss, I also have to sit into the move a little, like a pole sit. Once my sit is secure, I can extend my legs into a CAR.  How is your plank/adv plank? Those are helpful to get before going into CAR/CKR.

You ladies are amazing! I haven't followed any of the links, but when reading this tread I was overwhelmed with the love and concern!  The internet really is a "Wild West" but it's nice to see that some people still look out for each other and for the kids out there. I see both sides of this issue, and don't know what the "right" answer is. I think it's awesome that you would even think to be concerned.

Welcome! and welcome to California! I'm in Escondido and work in Carlsbad. If you're interested there's a great studio in Sorrento Valley called Sumara Pole. We even have 15 foot poles! I like it because (like here) it's more than just pole instruction. It's a community.

For your home workouts, do you have a routine? I have a pole at home along with doing classes twice a week. I am still working on what to do when I'm home besides playing around. I need more structure at home! 🙂

I love this thread!  I started pole only a year ago and love it!
