Thanks for the replies. Now I kinda know where to start. All I want to do is share poling with other because it rocks, but I better get on it and do it right.

Thanks :). I live in Alaska, not too many people into pole up here, I just wanted to get a out and share it with others.

Yes, you can get a brass Xpole in the us. Just give Xpole a call. I love mine. Did have one problem, but it was fixed right away. Xpole us has kick ass customer service!

I really love my Xpole brass 45. I actually like it better than the brass ps pole I tried.

Nice! My first performance is in September, I hope it goes as well as yours!

I quit 3 years ago, best thing ever! It was worth all the trouble and irritability. After I quit, I still smoked occasionally when I was drinking, now I can’t stand it- ever. I work with geriatrics and have seen so many suffer at he end of life due to smoking. Being in constant pain because you can’t breath is a terrible way to spend the last years o your life, and it’s not fair to the ones you live. Just hang in there, focus on your goal, and you’ll get through it!

Thanks, I will for sure check them out.

I second the suggestion to tape yourself. I was feeling super shitty about an aerial hoop routine I’m doing, but after watching myself, I feel a lot better. Plus, it shows you what you really need to work on.

The first vaulted ceiling mount would not stay tight, the mount would turn with he pole and press into the Sheetrock. Randy sent me a new mount with 2 long screws instead of one short screw. It is pressing into the ceiling a tiny amount, but I haven’t had any problems with the pole coming loose, it’s been up for over a year and I use it a lot.

In 2006 I took a bullet from a 357 and it blew through my ribs and left lung. When I first started poliing last year, I was still sore at times, and it felt like my ribs were pulling and poking my insides when I started Inverting and doin shoulder mounts. Doesn’t really bother me now,I just don’t do a lot of leg hangs with my left side against the pole.

Don’t know where you are at, but there is a new place out here in Wasilla that offers lessons in pole along with other arial and fitness stuff. I haven’t taken a lesson, but stopped in one day and it looks like a nice place. It’s sahara storm studios & circus arts 907-376-fitt/907-982-4955, it’s near the walmart.

Here is a pic I was able to get from xpole. I would still like to hear if anyone has used it and how it is working out.
