OMG firebird if anyone ever told me what to wear I would kick them in the junk! You are just a mom dropping her kids off you're not a teacher at the school wearing your pole logo attire to teach classes, so I don't see how it's your problem that your attire could cause her husband to fantasize about anything, I guarantee you a man would find a woman in miniskirt or low cut top reason to fantasize whether or not their clothes have a pole on them so she needs to STFU. That is garbage and she should wonder why her husband is fantasizing in the first place, clearly not your problem! Also how has no one made a comment to the mom who ATTENDED the pole party?! If I was her I'd be like, you don't tell if I don't! And called it a day. Wow.

I don't have kids but I do have tattoos and once I was walking in a mall parking lot and heard a little kid go "mommy why do people get tattoos?!" the mom proceeded to answer "Because their parents don't love them" SERIOUSLY?! These are probably the same parents who are calling it a stripper pole and feeding their kids all sorts of garbage-y false information about everything else important in life. Sadly people are always going to be stupid and wear their Judgey Pants, all we can do is know how awesome we are and how great our butts look when we put our pole shoes on! I'd take that over the lives of these moms anyday because I can only imagine what they are like and I guarantee they are projecting issues in their own marriage/self-esteem onto you and a lot of it probably comes from jealously. I even think the asshole dad of the OP probably wishes his wife worked out on the pole too, any semi-sane man would want that!

yeah it really bothered me for a while and I think I even cried 🙁 my fiance was like "its the clothes that dont fit you, not you that doesnt fit the clothes" but that wasn't much consolation. When I emailed them the owner said they were intending to come out with larger sizes and they would totally send me some to test drive for them….of course neither of these things ever happened and this was a year and a half ago. I ended up re-selling the stuff I bought with my GC for less than retail so at least some other girls could enjoy it. I wish I wasn't so nice to keep their name hidden because they are probably the leader in pole wear and it's really sad they can't include everyone. Her email was condescending and I felt like they were judging me for needing a larger size. But the owner of Vertical Edge is more my body type so thankfully there is finally someone who gets it, and I hope more lines like hers come out in the future when people realize not all polers have the same body type!

Oh girl I am in the same boat as you and I hate it. I won a gift certificate to a verrrrry well known line for polers when I won a competition and I couldn't even use it because none of their stuff fit my boobs! I emailed them to ask what the deal was and why they barely made any tops in large, and even the ones that were supposedly a large still didn't contain my jubblies. (I am not even that big (maybe a 34D on a good day but usually a C). When I lifted my arms up to shoulder mount my boobs fell out the bottom!!! Their response was "most polers are small and medium so we make those sizes" Needless to say I thought that was super rude and shitty and I felt terrible about myself. Polers can be athletic and still need a size large people!!!!!! Aaaaaanyway, there's an awesome lady who runs a line of pole wear called Vertical Edge, she makes pole wear in sizes up to 2X I think, and I modeled her stuff in a pole fashion AND IT ACTUALLY FIT HALLELUJAH BABY JESUS! I thought I would never be able to wear any cute pole clothes but her stuff is adorable and well made and fits great. So I would check her out, I have my eye on the ruffle skirt bottom, sooo cute.

I have done this competition twice, Michelle and Veena have both been my coaches. I will tell you not to underestimate the beginner levels as they have their own challenges. About half my division said this was their first and only competition and the other half enjoyed it and a few of us have done it both years in a row. It is awesome not having to travel to compete so you have a big advantage there. Let me know if I can answer any of your questions, Michelle wants me to enter but I have my own wedding coming up this fall so I am not sure what I can swing, but I am hoping to for sure enter the Windy City division. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the advice everyone I really appreciate it! i should have clarified I am just experimenting with this to see how it goes and if I feel any better and to make me more aware of what I am eating. I also don't know if I can eat this way my entire life but I want to at least give it a shot. If it doesn't work out I will re-evaluate. I appreciate everyone's input and experiences! Thank you again 🙂

I'm sure you if you poke around online you could find some tutorials for garters, I made my own prom garter in high school and will most likely be making my bridal one as well. I sewed the elastic to one end of a long fabric tube that was longer than the elastic, scrunched the fabric tube down, and sewed the ends shut. from there you can easily hot glue lace to the back or sew it, just dont burn your fingers like i do every time! You could even make the tube solely with a hot glue gun instead of having to sew that. i think i glued a little charm on the front too. total cost was like $5 or less. about 2 years ago from lover's lane I got some super basic garters, basically just nice elastic, for $2. hope this helps some! good luck!

I got to take a private at Shine in Las vegas with Suwasit!! I also saw Pink Puma training there and saw her doing her stretch warm up…holy crapola! Suwasit was the same size as me and really cute and a great instructor I highly recommend the studio and his instruction.

On the same trip I was in Alethea's pole space in her LA apartment does that count?! I swam in her pool too. I also saw Veena's new house and swam in her pool too!!! It was the best celebrity polecation ever I am still dreaming of it!!

Thank you CapFeb!! Maybe jenwojo meant "real-life",  not real women, in terms of real women vs what we see in pictures because she did say "we are so bombarded with images that no one knows what a REAL woman looks like anymore" which I agree 100% with. Pictures of women are so edited now that they don't even look real so maybe when my hater saw a woman in an unedited photo she was like EWWW A REAL LADY!! I never say "real women have curves" or any of that crap, because although I do have curves, all women are real!!! Lol. I agree skinny shaming is just as bad as fat shaming. But I do agree with people losing touch of what a real-life woman looks like! Good thing my cellulite was covered in the photo or she really would've gone to town https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

MiniCooper everyone loves and admires you for going on tv and doing your thang!!!!!! Mad respect and anyone who says otherwise can go to my website eatabagofdicks.com!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Thanks sooo much everyone for your responses 😀 All Your comments are sooo nice! Yes I am definitely trying not to let her get me down and I’m sure she was jealous which is crazy to me because I’m nothing special really! I just feel bad for fat shamers, women ones especially. I’ve gotten so much support from the community and the veeners that it can’t be ruined by one super rude person!!!
