I’m free first weekend of march! Polekitten do you have enough space for another pole to be brought along? If theres quite a few people it might be good to have more than one pole.
Polephoenix where abouts is northants? Is that near Milton Keynes? My geography is so rubbish…especially as its fairly near where I live. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
As for whether its a daytime or night thing…I propose…daytime….but maybe…drinks in the evening?? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif -
Very succinctly and nicely put…hehe and thanks for replying, always nice to know someone has read it…though my rants are sometimes very rambley…I don’t really expect anyone to manage to get to the end of them. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I hate the word whore. especially when it’s directed at people who are simply doing an exercise regime. I didn’t make it past the one minute mark. She’s obviously a thicko…and no amount of intelligent reasoning would change that. Sigh.
And lol Runemist I love how you make a perfectly valid point and she replies with "Whatever? you say ….hoe." -
Oooh! I find this really interesting, I’m thinking of getting me on of these things. My friend has a mooncup and she loves it http://www.mooncup.co.uk/ I guess its the same thing. She said she found it difficult to get used to the first time but now its easy as pie.

Aw this is so nice. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Thanks for starting this thread!
2 years ago I had this crazy ‘epiphany’…I was with my boyfriend…it was about 5am and we were pretty drunk, it was a hot summers night and we’d been out. I remember feeling really self conscious because I was wearing shorts and quite a skimpy top and they were a bit too small for me and I thought looked fat, kept pulling my top down to cover my tummy etc…anyway I complained "Ugh, my clothes don’t fit me"
and he mumbled "Well you always look hot to me" and I rolled my eyes and got into bed with him.We were lying there for ages and I was having silly drunk, emo thoughts about everyone I knew who had problems/ pain in their lives and I (having an amelie moment) said "I wish I could make everyone I knew happy"
And my bf said. "Well the first step towards that is to be happy yourself."And then it clicked. It was such an obvious thing he said, and he was half asleep and had no idea what impact he had just made on me but it was like I suddenly saw clearly. It was almost like a spiritual experience I swear. I had a LOT of stupid issues in my teens, depression and quite a serious eating disorder…and I’d never been happy with how I looked.
But suddenly everything made sense. Why can’t we (especially women) just accept compliments? When my bf had said to me "You always look hot to me" why couldn’t I just accept that compliment, why did I roll my eyes disbelievingly. Why do we always have to answer "Oh thanks but I HATE this part of me" or "no I look awful". It is true that…unless you really love yourself it’s so hard to open up and love others. And you can’t expect people to respect you if…you don’t respect yourself.I suddenly realised that…I was a nice person. I look fine. My body is fine. Theres nothing WRONG with me. In fact theres a lot of stuff RIGHT about me.
I was, for the very first time…completely happy to be me. It was such an overpowering feeling that I don’t think I’d felt since I was a kid, and I started to cry a little bit because I was so happy. Obviously then my bf sat up, alarmed saying "WHATS WRONG WHY ARE YOU CRYING??" because he had no idea what had just happened in my head, heh…but I reassured him I was fine, and went into the bathroom, and I turned on the lights and I remember looking at myself in the mirror…
and the clothes that I had been wearing that hadn’t fit 10 minutes ago…were completely fine. They fit PERFECTLY.
I was completely amazed. They looked SO much better. Now thats body dysmorphia for you! When I was thinking negative thoughts about my body, I had thought my clothes hadn’t fit at all, kept riding up…and as soon as that cloud was lifted…they fit. PERFECTLY.ANYWAY. Long story short! I hope every one of you ladies has an experience like that someday and realises how beautiful you really are! Because you are! And when people compliment you, usually they are being completely sincere so accept it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

hehe window cleaner/shaving cream…ah the tricks of our trade! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
Hair spray is my saviour in this horrible weather.
First I turn the heating UP, then get my pole as warmed up as possible, (pole ups/small spins), then I spray a tiiiiny bit of hair spray on each hand…then as I’m using the pole, the pole will end up getting easier and easier to grip! Make sure u don’t use too much though because then you just stick like a fly on wall paper…good for some moves…not very graceful for spins!
