just thought i’d add about the teeth issue… because my tongue stud has knackered my teeth. but this is actually more due to the fact that i drink wwwaaayyyy too much coke and suffer from acid erosion. so if you already have weak teeth, it’s probably not a good idea. my teeth is one of the things i dislike most about myself, and i do think my tongue stud didnt help this. but… yet.. i still keep it in. I know i am crazy. They are not majorly bad, (never had a filling! yey) just a few chipped teeth, but as said before… i reckon this would have happened anyway. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    hey,

I had mine done about 5 years ago (still have it in). Yes, my tongue did swell https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif i couldn’t talk properly or eat very much for about a week. However, I do know of people that said they had it done without people noticing. Think it all depends how your body reacts to injury! hehe.

I also reckon it hurts less than having my ears done!

Maybe just pull a sickie from work for a week after you have it done. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Anyway welcome welcome welcome! (really like your december challenge vid btw!)

aww thank you. when i watch it now some dance moves i do make me cringe! and i didnt even do it that long ago!

And i am sure there must be a way of combing market research and pole dancing! I think every job should involve pole dancing. Would be so much fun going to work. hehe. x

i think i am going to treat myself to veena’s lessons! They do sound great. The pole at my work is good, tall and on a stage and luckily not as slippy as mine own one at home. I do think poling has become my life, and this website! I love everything about it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif And Sasha’s Pole I feel your pain being without a pole. I tired going 2 weeks after an injured elbow trying to not pole and it drove my crazy! At least we have each other here to keep us sane. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Loopie Lou, the bar is in a town called Macclesfield (it is not a great night out) in a club called Repent. It is knew and not very well known. But i love messing around in there when i work. So if you ever did happen to pass by that way. hehehe.

I am from Manchester, in the North West. Thank you, i am hoping that the gracefulness will come in time! In the mean time, I don’t mind laughing at myself trying to get down. x https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

i re-posted the same video with the original music I had one when I was practising. And the video was fine. Just it doesn’t sound great as I have edited the video and cut bits out so obviously the music has been cut out too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I will try again with my next video with added on music. I just don’t want people to have to go through listening to dodgey music! hehe. Bloody Technology, eh! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I had the same problem… so started searching the forums to see if it had happened to anyone else. The first video I uploaded was fine. The second did the same problem you were having. The difference in video’s is that the first, it has the original music that i had on when i was actually pole dancing. whereas the second video I added a different soundtrack to the original I had on when dancing. This is the only difference, but not quite sure why it does it.

If you found out how to fix it, could you let me know! hehe. Sorry couldn’t be much more help. x

Thank you so much for the replies! I shall make sure i rest it. In the mean time this site can keep me sane from not going on the pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Thank you for the video too! Is a really good idea! x
