Bound to the pole. Like handcuffs, ropes, scarves, anything binding you to the pole.

I'd mount it on the wall instead of leaning it against the hardwood. Knowing it may slip, even if looks sturdy. Or maybe add a rubber frame? *shrug* Bathroom remodel mirrors are the best quality mirrors as they are heavier/harder/thicker than standard wall mirrors.

The Aussie girls said brass is the best one yet. I agree too as I've tried brass 50mm and 45mm in Toronto and loveeeee it! Brass is the best grippy metal for me. Not too slippery like SS but not too grippy like TG. Just right.

A month ago, Lindsey told me brass will be available in 45mm x-pert only and price is $429.99. *crosses fingers it's lower now*

$$$$$$ but IMO it's worth it b/c their chrome now is blech compared the original chrome. X-Pole chrome is less slippery than stainless steel. I'm gonna keep both brass 45mm and original chrome 50mm.

@mizvix – When you're holding your body up with both legs bent, body facing up, and with the TG grip. It's also a good practice for iron x and phoenix. Just holding yourself there.

Ironically, I cannot kick up into a TG, but I can do a slow, full controlled TG lift. I really think it has to do with back and arm strength. Spine strengthening series in yoga helped me a lot with back strength. Then arm strength just came from the years of poling and warmups, plus yoga 3-4x per week with all those low planks. LOL!

Key tips: Use push-pull. Push with your bottom arm, pull with your top arm. Then do not lock or hyperextend your arms. You'll lose arm strength that way. Use gun grip for stability. And practice a seated stall with TG grip. When you can hold it for at least 5 seconds, you can lift up. I practiced the seated stall for about a month. Whatever top arm you use, that side leg is your lead leg. Imagine your pointed toe lifting up to touch the pole.

I learned with Jenyne a couple weeks ago. When she saw the control, she said, "Oh whoa!" LOL! Love her to pieces.

Hanky Panky low rise thongs. <3 Super comfortable and they stay hidden.

    CBS Sunday Morning

    New York Post

I was so upset this morning when I watched CBS. Half of it was AMAZING though I wasn't too pleased with the editing or remarks. They cut out our entire workshop with REAL pole moves, USPDF backstage interviews, and Thursday night's competitors/performers footage. And replaced it with some derogatory stereotype beginners class and the pole cleaner interview.

They filmed so much USPDF behind the scenes and I really wanted to see it. Sucks! And then some unknown jersey studio gets the light instead of NYPD. Horrible.

Media always has some undisclosed agenda with pole press. Half was not even part of USPDF anything! Fluffy bunnies instead of TG lifts? I'll shove a dollar down their shirt… Ughhhh

On the bright side, I'm glad Jenyne got a good amount of gorgeous air time in and got to see part Natasha's "Black Swan" performance. I was in the background 3 times too. LOL.

DVR set too! Yeah our workshop will probably gonna be cut. lol! If anything probably 2 minutes out of the hour will be there. They also filmed Dia Zarif, Jennifer Kim, Mina Mortezaie, Amy Guion. This is gonna be one epic press for pole!!!!

I had a few close ups yesterday but lol who knows if it'll be on the show. Felt good to be filmed by CBS though!
