    And so… you are mine

okay…so now we might have to do a pole-off over this one!! LMAO!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

See you may have an advantage on the pole-off, cause you can rock my newbie ass on the pole. But what I lack in pole skills (a temporary setback) I more than make up for with determination and heart. I am however, NOT declining your little dual my darling. I accept your offer and will die in an my attempts to win Sissy’s honor.

However, please keep in mind, that my estate is far closer geographically so you may at any time graciously accept defeat.

In respect for your own beatuy, talents and wonderful sensabilities, I propose the following: We each can have her 2 weekends a month, and 2 months during the summer. Holidays we can rotate but we have joint custody for jams, comps and any other activivites related to pole, aerial arts or outlandish activities we can come up with to entertain ourselves. During all other times, all 3 of us can be each others’ bitches. I assure that is this offer is more than generous.

    Do we have an accord?

Man! did this ever blow up into something it shouldn’t have. I have to say that I read Sissy’s original post and didn’t get anything out of that other than her feeling really bad about what happened that night at the club. I don’t feel that she made any comments insinuating that pole dancers are better than entertainers in clubs in any way shape or form.

I think it actually took some courage and humility for her to bust out with a story like that in order to humble others that may find themselves in a club having a so called "boring" time who may act on their thoughts and voice them negatively. Sissy wrote this post of out of respect for the working women/men in hopes that their feelings may be spared out of respect for these people, not just as entertainers but as human beings.

My biggest thing here is that too often we loose context online or through email or text messages because we have no pitch and roll to go by to understand the intent of the communication. Things are often misconstrued. So I urge those to first and foremost, READ the post in its entirety. READ carefully and READ such posts a few times before you decide to respond. I totally concur with Roxy… slow that roll ladies.

In regards to freedom of speech, the whole point of Sissy’s post was to point out that very thing. She was simply stating that are all entitled to their opinions and some things as she felt she learned the hard way, are better left unsaid. I think she made herself quite clear when she titled the post "You shouldn’t go to strip clubs and heckle the Strippers" Funny thing is she didn’t even heckle. She made a private comment that turned out to not be so private. She felt bad about it. Uh, yeah. Nuff said. Otherwise why would she have written it in the first place. Especially Sissy of all people. She has been a fellow dancer and loyal member of the site since its inception and is a well received by all. I am proud to say that I know her and even prouder to say that I have poled with her. Sissy rocks!

One of the reasons I love this site so much and the people who grace its pages is that there is a zero tolerance for negativity here. And until today, I had never witnessed any. We are all so supportive of each other here and we do not have the room or the need for it. So to end this novel of a post….Be positive, stay positive and for pete’s sake….

    Less jibber jabber! More pole!!!!!

So I got on the non-smoking train and got Chantix. I am really disappointed. major sad face. It is now day 7 and I have seen no change in my cravings at all.

AWW…It hasn’t changed the way it tastes or smells to you??? OMG after two days I couldn’t stand the smell and the taste made me sick to my stomach! But then again I am very sensitive to medication so maybe that is why it hit me so fast! Good luck and if you need to chat let me know….I haven’t smoked in 13 days and haven’t really had a single craving…now I think about it A LOT but I don’t have any cravings and I know I won’t give in bc it will just taste horrible!

That’s amazing Roxy, I am really happy for you. I have quit before and the 2 week marker is like gold. I always feel really confident and woke up and found that a cigaretter wasn’t the first thing I thought about in the morning. Its a really good feeling. Keep it up girlie!

So far, I have noticed only a teeny tiny difference in taste but nothing close to the point where it’s so disgusting I can’t stand it. I don’t mind thinking about it, as long as I don’t NEED a cigarette. But I still NEED the cigarette at this point. I think I am ok though, I mean where there is a will there is way right? My problem is that I still like smoking and as much as I want to quit there is a big part of me that still wants to smoke. Hence the Chantix. ha.

Thanks for being there, I will defintely keep you posted. I might just need to take you up on that talk. Plus it would be nice to talk to you anyway. Are you still coming up for the Xmas Jam?

So I got on the non-smoking train and got Chantix. I am really disappointed. major sad face. It is now day 7 and I have seen no change in my cravings at all. I am hoping that it is just taking longer to build up in my system otherwise I am going to be really bummed. I have tried every other method out there and I really want to quit, but nothing so far has worked. The longest I have been able to quit is two months and I have been smoking for more than 10 years. Its time, to quit but I am losing hope. I know that Chantix isn’t the only thing that determines my quitting but it seriously isn’t doing anything for me. I dare say it seems that I am smoking more than usual and I smoke a pack a day. ahhhh. So far, its a waste of the $150 i paid for the month’s prescription.

I haven’t given up yet though. I am going to continue to take it for the month, but if I don’t see any change, I think I am going to go back to the patch. Its way cheaper and I seemingly had better results after 1 week. I just gotta wear the patch for a longer period of time. I usually stop wearing them at the 2 week marker because I feel pretty good and don’t want to keep the nicotine in my system.

    Keeping my fingers crossed!

should we reserve spots since so many of us are going? We are going for the open pole mixer right? So there will be other people there besides our fanatical selves?

Count on it Sissy! So I was looking up the pole pressure site last night, and I am frustrated because my work schedule is the exact opposite of the class times she offers right now. I am hoping to get down there in the next week or so if possible. What is your schedule like?

I am being patient at the moment, but I think once Dec 1st comes I am going to start buggin’. I have been looking for a Santa outfit too, but I think I might just make one. I was thinking of making a hood with pom poms but I am still on the drawing board with that one. I may end up not doing anything though, I always plan stuff like that and then run out of time, life just gets in the way.

I totally know what you are saying about labor. I am just starting out and have actually enjoyed working out more than I have now that I have an awesome goal besides just getting in shape to look hawt…

I am so amazed at the strength all the lovely ladies that have graced the art of pole. It really pushes me to be a better me. I just think guys have the upper hand when it comes to upper body strength. Generally, for women our strength comes from the lower half and takes a lot of work to get our upper bodies where we want them to be. But overall I guess its the same for guys and dolls. We all have our trouble areas and have to work hard to achieve the strength we need.

I am glad you got back to a point where you regained your flexibility though. The length you achieve in your holds are amazing!! I used to be really flexible myself and am really working at it now to get it back. Its all just time and patience. But for us pole addicts, giving it time and patience is often very difficult to achieve. Its kinda like being a kid at christmas, counting the days till you can nail a move or invert etc. etc.

Anyway, I really did enjoy your video. I would love to see what you post next.

YAY for you Roxy!!! I am on the anti smoking kick too. I got a prescription for chantix myself but haven’t been able to fill it just yet. I have tried the patch countless times along with tons of other methods and nothing so far has worked. I hope I can follow suit. I am really interested to know how the chantix works out for you. Keep us posted.
