Thanks Mindy4Pole, Sissy etc!
My pole instructor recommended me trying iguana (I’d never heard of bow and arrow, or tried headstand for that matter). So maybe it was a bit ambitious.
Again thank you so much for the comments – I’ll practice bow and arrow and will attempt head stand and take it from there! Sounds like that approach would make more sense.

Hiya
Was Tracey the girl with the mask and the Chinese pole style moves? She was absolutely incredible.
It was a really good night, but had to leave half way through https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
Definitely inspiring, my pole instructor said she’ll enter next year.

SaschaPoles – I got my special x-pole release kit this afternoon and it WORKED! Straight away. Absolutely fantastic.

Hope it worked out alright? This has just happened to my pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I’m going to order the kit from the x-pole site. Gutted!
This sounds a bit silly… but which way are you supposed to turn the tightening bars? Scared I’ll accidentally tighten it..

"Do you usually slide down of an invert or do you sometimes jump out of it, feet back to the floor? I don’t know much about this, but my instructor popped a rib once in class…yeah, It was quite the shock, when she reversed back down from a chopper, ab control is needed even when you are going down. if you slide down always, then I don’t know. ignore me. LOL!"
omg this is exactly what’s just happened to me! Exactlyl the same move, same feeling – but I take it I would know if a rib was broken?
Normally get this pain every once in a while but never like this… just posted on the health and fitness forum;

I struggled a fair bit with the caterpillar – but one day swapped arm / hand position. Instead of moving up my right hand, I used my left – and it instantly worked!
