Thank you! I am hoping that once someone spots meet up into the position I will be able to figure out the best positioning for my forearms, arms and shoulders to complete and hold the stance.

Thank you! When I go up my balance is distributed through my forearms/shoulders and head not much pressure on my head. I guess I don’t have enough strength to rely soley on my forearms yet. Thanks again!

My goal is to get into the open V while in a shoulder mount. I finally did a shoulder mount today and my pole is STILL so slippery I lost my grip as soon as I got into the V position :(( My other goal is the Ayesha and to revist the Butterfly, I'm still a little scared of it since it's the move I hurt myself in. I would like to work on a combo Barbed Wire into Butterfly but I'm noticing my split may not be wide enough to hook my leg, but I'm gonna keep working at it.

I usually wear my pole shorts and bra top under my sweats to the studio so this is what I carry in with me:

    Tape for my wrists

    iTac

    two pairs of leg warmers

    towel

Tablet (for recording and pic and pulling up tutorials)

    Heels

    Pair of socks

    extra tank top/t-shirt and shorts

tampons (they usually just stay just in case)

    deodorant

    cocoa butter

    comb/brush/pony tail holder

Spinning V…..ugh! For some reason I cant seem to get that "tuck" before extending and keep banging my foot on the pole or just going into a full on spinning invert. :(((( I wanna get it so I can move on to the spinning Scorpio.

I found I am waaaay better at elbow and handstands than I am at headstands. Dont like the pressure on my head/neck. And sometimes I use the pole as leverage

I use itac and haven’t experienced thus yet *fingers crossed* I try to stay away from Dry Hands….it took the skin off during a combo spin lol! When it sticks it sticks! I will admit to using dry hands if I want to do a quick static move. But moving around Ive always used itac. Would like to try others though just for variety.

I attend Spinarella and have attended others in the area and I absolutely love the studio. From the owners to the teachers to the classes on down the line. The polenastics and pole series classes are the greatest and they have lots of others.
