I will be in Vegas next month too and was just wondering the same thing! Looking for studios to take a few privates as well as hitting a club to watch girls on the pole.

Doing some Google searches this morning I just found out that pole queen Jenyne Butterfly performs and has a solo in the Michael Jackson cirque du soleil show.

Also Planet Hollywood has a pole lesson they call Stripper 101. Its totally a beginner class but they teach you a fun pole routine as well as lapdance.

Im still searching for a Pole Studio that is close to the strip.

  • ha ha! Anything!!! but seriously when I first started I was impressed by pole climbs… actually who am I kidding I still am impressed by pole climbs.

I had a very similar experience as the ones previously described. I ordered my shoes in April this year and did not get them until the end of July. Yup you read that right it took 3 months to get my shoes.

I too sent emails looking for updates trying to make sure my order did not accidentally get lost. I sent a few emails- got no response. I called a couple times left vm but my call was never returned. I finally reached out to Tiffany via her FB page and she responded that my shoes would be shipping before the end of the week. It was about 2 weeks later that I finally got my tracking number email.

The shoes are really pretty but when amazon can deliver a pair of pleasers over night I’m not sure I would wait that long for a pair of heels again.

It is possible! I took a stripper 101 class in Vegas last year and they taught us a simple but super sexy lap dance routine in 30 minutes. Its only a 3 minute (0ne song) slow dance (if your hubby makes it that long before pouncing you) My advice would be to set up a chair and dance on and around it as if your hubby is sitting there- there are also a lot of routines on youtube. Here are some tips that the instructor gave us regarding lap dances. — Make your hubby stick to the “hands off” rule meaning he can not touch you only you can touch him. He will try to break this rule but just kindly take his hands off you every time he does (this is an amazing tease). — Go slow. —. – Don’t be so tough on yourself trying to get the perfect routine no man will ever say “that was a great lap dance but maybe next time try and point those toes a little better” — If you forget what move comes next just stick your boobs in his face. here is a routine I found on you rube

I have a 50mm lil Minx pole I would personally recommend the 45. I will be switching to a 45mm xpole soon.

My absolute favorite video to share is Emma Haslam’s videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqzUI5t9qJ4 (which has gotten over 10 Million views). http://youtu.be/eh8oDdGemKE

I think the ‘about me’ in my profile says it all: “California Mom of 2 toddlers. Most pole profiles feature girls doing iron x I’m over here like “Did you see that invert!?” Poling since Nov 2013.”

I have an instagram account where I post nothing but pole related pics and vids. I made it a point to follow regular women who pole. I find it so inspiring to watch women at my level, above my level, and the beginners (of all shapes and sizes). It inspires me to try different combos and try new moves. If I see a move I’ve never done I immediately log on to SV to look for a tutorial.

I do follow some of the Pros (I call them “the unobtainables”), watching them is a different form of inspiration for me. The pros don’t post videos of themselves doing beginner or intermediate moves- They are doing dead-lift-shoulder-mount –body-waves and crazy contortions! And when I watch too many of those videos I do start to feel bad about my abilities. But then Michelle shimmy posts a video where she tells us she too has butt cellulite and that makes me feel a little better.

As for the video clips because I am an instagram user that is mostly what I watch. However if I am on SV I take the time to watch the full video that users post. And if it’s a live performance you for sure have my full attention. I don’t follow many pole dancers on FB so I cant say much for that.

Us casual polers need to post more videos of ourselves out there for other casual polers and non pole people to see and be inspired! I have shown my videos to neighbors and friends and have gotten quite a few of them to go to class with me. It usually is not until after they see my vids that they agree to try it. There is something about watching a regular person pole that makes you think “if she can learn to do that surely I can give it a shot”. I am not an amazing poler but I have gotten so many thank you from women (a lot more advanced than me) because my videos have inspired them to try new moves, learn something new, or revisit some of the basics I’m working on.

Sexy is the first word that came to mind. Your outfits and shoes always give you the sexy dance style.

April 23, 2014 at 3:34 pm in reply to: tummy tuck

I have no experience with tummy tuck but I had a C-section and they had me wait 6 weeks before doing any lifting and after my 8 week follow up appointment I was cleared to do “full areobic activity” but was told to take it slow and listen to my body and that if I felt any pain I need to stop because it meant I was probably trying to do too much. The doctor can give you more specific guidelines if you explain poling to him. But if you are going to go thru all the pain and expense of surgery I would most def take it slow and follow doctors orders so that you dont do any thing to affect the results of the surgery.

Yes please do share videos! I always like watching “masculine” athletic pole videos. I mean don’t get me wrong the guys in heels are awesome too but there is something about the masculine movements men can do in pole tricks that are just awesome to watch.
