Nevermind! I FINALLY found a picture of it being used properly.

When you gals are using the ‘non skid pad’ for hardwood floor or whatnot, do you have the little feet on the bottom of the pole as well? or are you using the pad as a replacement of those? There’s no information about it. Thanks in advance!
