HI I went last year and can’t wait for this year. To answer some questions. I took some workshops last year that were over my skill level. The workshops there are full and if they are working on moves that require (for example) a handspring and you do not have one yet you will not learn as much. I do recommend staying in your skill level.

Privates depend on the individual instructor rate. I booked one already and I recommend it but every instructor at expo has a rate. Email Fawnia and tell her who you want the private with and she will help you

Also book workshops ASAP. Many will sell out!

I would love to meet anyone else who is going. I can’t wait!

  • Amiloo. I would really appreciate a video. Thank you!!!

I just started working on superman from flatline but I am just still not turning over.

  • CAR!!!! I hate this move. Some says I can hold it and sit up, some days I slide right down the pole and sometimes I am too afraid to even go into it. And I always try about 3 inches from the floor. I am so glad to read here that I am not the only one who hates this move. I feel a little better!!!

Also superman. I think I have a mental block because no matter what my teachers say I can’t get into it. I didn’t care for a long time but I am now looking for an attractive entrance into air shoulder mount and I want it again grrrrrrr.

Layback is my nemesis move so I can’t help you there! For Gemini make sure your foot is pointed down. That will create the correct lock with the knee. Look at your foot and check! Squeeze the knee as hard as possible If you are just learning Gemini it will hurt. Also remember that your opposite ( to the knee on the pole) waist and shoulder are touching the pole. Use that shoulder and let it press against the pole. It may help to release the opposite hand first and press the back of that arm against the pole then release the other hand!
