If you’re going to go the privates route, I recommend having an idea of what you want to work on. What do you want to try to accomplish by the end of the year? What move are you really struggling with at home that more hands on direction would be beneficial? That way the teacher can come up with a lesson plan for you. My teacher gives me homework after privates and sometimes after a class. She tells me what moves I need to focus on, gives me direction for how to improve it on my own, will tell me what moves she’s not comfortable with me working on just yet by myself, and lets me know what muscles I need to try to strengthen up.

I had my dad screw my pole into my apartment ceiling. When I move out I’m just going to fill the holes in with putty or repaint over it with some popcorn ceiling paint. Renters know that wear and tear will happen. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I saw this a video of a stripper who climb all the way up this super high pole, flip herself into the ceiling bar and just hang their by her heels. She was swaying back and forth and rocking intentionally. I was mesmerizicing and terrifying all at the same time.

Don’t tell me that they aren’t athletes.

It’s just silly to put down someone for earning a living in a legal profession. If anything people need to be coming after these CEOs taking home million dollar bonuses while their employees need 2 jobs to pay their bills.

It just reminds me of this post I saw on Pinterest last year. Basically it said, no I’m not a stripper what I do takes hard work or discipline or something equally as stupid. I was so mesmerized by the stupidity. To the point I was staring at it and wondering if the person who made it realized that strippers are using the same muscle groups.

Stop shaming and policing women’s bodies.
