That was wonderful.
But what the hell was up with the lady in the background screaming like it was a Chippendales revue? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I’m all for audience apprecation but I think she was taking it too far….

It looks just like mine does too. I think it’s like FreeTheSun said, it’s space so it can spin and also so the base can articulate for uneven floors.

Bless you…. I’ve got 42 DD’s and can NEVER find a sports bra that I like. I’m not a huge fan of Uniboob. I’ll have to check out the Champion ones.
I usually wear Bali bras and a Tank top. (Bali concelers are the BEST ever.) But a sports bra would be nice if I ever get to the "bra only" stage.
Oh, and all you "endowed" girls that are looking for cute Bikinis. Both Lucky Jeans and Roxy Swimwear make D cup swimsuits. I can even get my girls into them. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I know from experience… pole and drunk friends is a dangerous combo. Try not to spin ’em around too much. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_l.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif

MemberSeptember 28, 2009 at 4:56 am in reply to: Pole dancing shorts. Help. Need your opinion 😀I’d like a pair that would STAY PUT. My shorts always either roll down at the waist or creep up at the hems. I don’t want to have to keep pulling my shorts up or down. Maybe some of that rubbery no skid stuff they use in strapless dresses? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
And the wierd thing is it’s not like I can predict which will happen.

MemberSeptember 27, 2009 at 4:47 pm in reply to: Dancing for the boyfriend for the first timePick a SLOW and SHORT song, and keep it simple. The first time I danced for hubby, (which was strangely enough just this week) I rocked it out a little too hard. By the time I was done I was sweaty and out of breath. He had "other things" in mind and I just wanted a rest. So skip the inverts and climbs and all the impressive stuff you’ve been working on.
And a schoolgirl skirt usually helps.
Good luck.

Dangi it. I have an adorable on on my car that I got a couple years ago… I just can’t remember where my friend found it. E-Bay maybe?

My pole is super slippery when the air’s on. Since I don’t have control of the air, I’ve tried everything. Best so far is Method’s Best in Glass window cleaner. Better for you then Windex AND mint scented. Mmmmmmmm. Minty Pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif
If it’s humid and the air is off then I just use plain Rubbing Alcohol.

Veena,
Just trim the flooring so it clicks around the pole. then you wouldn’t have the base to deal with too…

New development, my neighbor’s bringing a highspeed camera so we can see all those awesome moves in slomo, Mythbusters style.
I am so geeked out!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_ugeek.gif

Wow! Now I wanna do gymnastics and go to contortionist school!
Can you go to contortionist school? Is there such a thing?
We actually have a couple "Cirquelike" troops in MN that teach circus classes. One of the classes is actually contortionist school. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_study.gif

Though I’m very tempted to stop telling him when it’s in spinny mode.
I’ve got this image of sissy’s hubby of launching off the pole and flying off into the atmosphere. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
