I have a 50mm Chrome X pole for sale if anyone is still interested.

What annoys me the most is Studios that teach classes and the instructors don’t have a clue about how to properly teach technique thus endangering their students or when you pay to learn and end up teaching the instructors.

Looking good. You make it look easy!

I also was looking for intermediate to advanced classes last summer and none of the studios around here were offering them. I found one that said she was doing an open pole for intermediate because she didn’t have enough students sign up for intermediate. When I got there they really weren’t doing much. The only reason I went was because I needed a warm place to pole in the winter and wanted a spotter. I go about once a month but in all honesty I feel like I’m teaching the 2 instructors although I still enjoy having others to pole with even if I’m showing them how to do things. It seems there are alot of studios out there that just know how to do the very basic spins and that is all they are really interested in doing since alot of people that take the classes aren’t what I’d consider "Pole Junkies" like many of us.
I’d stay away from that place. Who knows what her insurance is like. She only stands to make money off of you.

I’m finally feeling comfortable with the superman. I’m no longer spinning all the time. The last tip was a good one on how to stop spinning. I find if I do the superman while my pole is not warmed up the when I push my hips down it doesn’t hurt where as if I try towards the end of my practice its still quite painful. I’m making good progress on this and now just have to practice dismounts or transitions out of it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Those are great tips. I usually try to do a cartwheel mouunt into a straight edge, so I tried it today during my practice into the extended butterfly which is much easier for now. I’m going to keep plugging away at this.

Yes I have a 50mm chrome xpole for sale right now.

I have a titanium pole and I don’t really notice much difference between my previous chrome xpole and the new titanium one. I do find having the smaller demension though made a big difference for me when doing ariel inverts.

You’re looking really really good! Keep it up.

Make sure when you invert that you keeps your shoulders down and back, engage your abs and don’t jump into the invert, try just lifting your legs up to the pole.
When I first started doing the open straddle move I always had the same pain and it was because I wasn’t strong enough yet for the move and had incorrect posture.
