My 45mm Titanium xpole arrived today. Can’t wait to try it out this week. Now I just have to figure out how to get my old xpole down.

Well i decided to go ahead and purchase a 45mm titanium pole from Veena. Looking forward to trying it out to see how much different it is than my 50mm chrome pole. Hopefully I get a better grip and make more progress at home instead of only when I’m in the studio.
If anyone is interested in a 50mm chrome x pole I’m selling it for 250 plus shipping US.

So I was doing some more research I have read that the titanium poles get slippery quickly if you don’t constantly wipe them down. Is this true.

I’m so sorry to hear that Veena! Doctors sometimes can be completely useless. I’ve had a doctor refuse to send me for alergy tests or go to a specialist to get some moles looks at. Its quite frustrating when you know there is something wrong and they brush you off, it seems to have all the time.
Rest up and keep us posted on your recovery! Hope you find someone that can help to diagnose and treat you.

I too get pain between my spine and shoulderblade on my right side when doing the chopper. I invert with the pole on my right side. I don’t have the issue when doing a basic invert or any other tricks, just the chopper so I rarely try it. I figure I might just not have enough ab strength, not sure.

My husband too has issue with me posting videos or even pictures and none of them are "sexy" or revealing in my opinion. I try not to post to often because of this. He doesn’t want people we know (family, friends or work) to see them because he feels they’ll get the wrong idea.

So tonight I finally managed to flip my legs and catch the pole without letting go before actually straightening out because of the pole burn. Yippee. Except now I have a new problem… Instead of staying stationary I start slowly spinning around the pole and then end up falling off cause my top hand can’t sustain the hold. I posted a vid tonight with my progress.
Any tips would be appreciated.

(1) How long do you practice? Ususally 1 hour with stretching
(2) How often do you practice? 2-3 times a week
(3) Do you just freestyle or do you have a plan of action? Freestyle mostly unless I’m really trying to learn a new move
(4) Do you stretch before, after or before & after practicing? Stretch before but not after
(5) Do you incorporate any strength training & conditioning exercises into your practices? Only pole
(6) Do you self-teach, take classes, or both? Took 6 week beginner course, then 6 private classes and now am self taught although I got to a pole drop in class mainly so I have a spotter available since I’m trying new intermediate/advanced inverts

If I get a chance duirng the week its always at night after dinner, but that usually only happens once a week. On the weekends I usually try earlier in the morning or just after lunch.
Now that its warmer outside I’ll probably try pracing more since my garage will be warm.

My pole is in my garage as well. I just put a large area rug under it and it works well enough. I have a 50mm chrome X pole. I’ve also used a 45mm as well. For inverts and hold I like the 50mm since you have more surface but for spins I like the 45mm since I have tiny hands.

I found a local store that sells them and going to give them a try since the bottom of my feet keep getting sore from dancing on carpet.
