I was lucky enough to have front row seats! I knew enough to book a workshop with her prior to her win and I’m so glad I did! She taught us all her tricks and such from her performance including the amazing fan kick to scorpio drop – you need a wierd inside arm grip to pull it off and I’ve never used it before.
I love that fan kick to scopio drop. I can do a aerial fan kick using a baseball grip and i can do the scorpio drop from Bad Ass’s Dangerious move. Angel1201, are you able to explain the weird hand grip she taught you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif I can’t seen to see it from her vid. -
It sounds like a beautiful new space. I can’t wait to see it on Sunday. I’ve taken some time off this summer, so I’m counting on all you ladies whipping me back into shape! See you there!
Hey all! Long time no see. Just wanted to let you know that I plan on attending this Sunday. I’ve been soooooo looking forward to this one! See you Sunday, and congrats Phoenyx on your runner up status at MPDC!!!
YEY Becca1 and Kalli, it will be so nice poling with you gorgeous gals again. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif -
Voohoo https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Anyways I was wondering…Is there only 1 person who will get into the competition in this pole idol voting? Just wondering what my chances are heheh would maybe vote for him if I hadn’t already voted for myself lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
ManCandy/ Steve Griffin already made it into the International Pole Dancing Competition. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif And the Pole-Idol contest is who your male pole idol is. Who ever wins the online Pole idol contest does not mean they win the competition. It just means that they win a reinburstment of some of their Competition expenses. -

For me, the apprentice has the bottom leg bent (see http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/images/thumb/2/20/Apprentice.jpg/800px-Apprentice.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
Names I know your straight leg version by:
– Appprentice V
– Thigh Rest V
– Open Thigh Rest
– Cradle V Tilt
– Open Jamilla
I guess different studios have different names for each move. I heard the straight leg version also called
Thigh rest v
Cradle full splits
Side way display
At our studio, your bent bottom leg version is called a Cradle bow and arrow or Cradle 1/2 splits. -

Heyyy!!!
I am a 27 year old from Stoney Creek, Ontario and I am addicted to pole dancing. I started about 1.5 years ago with Aradia Fitness in Hamilton. I got up to level 3 but I quit taking lessons because there was no one to teach level 4 so I couldn’t move on with them. However, I managed to teach myself many inverted tricks on my own. I mainly learned from watching videos on YouTube. I have the Xpole in my house!
I really want to get back into lessons but I am not sure where to go. I am interested in your studio and would like to check it out some time. And it’s perfect that your studio is literally in walking distance from me.
MrsNaughtywed, We would love to pole with you. Ontario Pole Jams are great in learning new moves, having a great time and making pole friends that share your passion. We hope to see you there. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif
Getting super excited for the pole jam!!! Can’t wait to meet everyone. So wish I lived back in Toronto again. Jeng Welcome home. -
Thank you to all you gorgeous pole babes for the warm birthday wishes. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif

I don’t have my center splits and so far from it but I can still do this move gracefully. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif The trick for me is going into a handstand about a foot 1/2 away from the pole and pelvic tucking my hips under as I tighten and engage my legs straight down in a straddle. I also make sure the pole is to one side of my private and not dead center. I was initially scared of this move as I didn’t want to hurt my privates. So I practiced it initially with a bulky feminine kotex napkin to take the fear factor away. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif
