Hi Emily, I like my star PS stage as it is more versitile for teaching . IT fits a standard 8 foot ceiling like most home has but you can also purchase an additional 1 foot or 2 foot extentions. Also you can purchase just a different size pole or finish. I have a 2 inch brass pole and plan to purchased 2 inch stainless steel pole only and 1 1/2 brass to interchange. X STAGE is beautiful , tall and also great but limited in height. Hope that helps.

Do sit up crunches on the pole from a cross ankle or cross knee release.Do as many as you can and build it up at each practice session. This will work up your core strength. Please do it on lower half of the pole and use cushions/pillows/crash mats. Also, start working on your split grip holds. Pulling with your top hand and pushing the pole with your bottom hand -elbow locked. Lift into a forward v display then diamond it back with control. This grip will be used often in your advance moves. Hope that helps.

Good for you Kasanya, I had the same problem with my Bobbi Groove dvd 1 from a company someone suggested on the forum. I emailed the company several times with no reply after waiting 35 days for my dvd and I finally filed a dispute with ebay and got my money back after 40 days. I still want that bobbi dvd 1 to learn my spinning moves but the shipping from bobbi’s site is $15.00 us for ONE $40.00 dvd. A REAL RIP OFF.

I have washed all of my silks and they came out fine. Mine are of tricot fabric. I was told by the factory to wash them twice on cold water. Once with washing powder and then again without.
Worked great and they smell nice again.
