I love that this topic is on here because the first time I left my pole up when my son came home he was like "OMG mommy that is so cool!" He jumped right on it and everytime I have it up he wants to spin. I think that they have a child spirit they don’t see at as anything sexual and he just has fun. My BF on the other hand did not want him on it at all he made it seem like he is going to be a stripper if he plays on it. I think it is a great thing for him to get his energy out and I think this shouldn’t be something that is looked down on. I am going to teach him spins but he already can climb the pole easily!

    Hey Krystal!!!

What perfect timing! It just happened that my neice and 2 nephews are here visiting for the first time since I’ve had the pole and OMG as soon as they walked in they made a beeline for it!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif It was crazy lol The youngest boy climbed all the way to the top on the first freakin try and I taught my neice how to do an inverted crucifix on the very first night!!! You have no idea how jealous I was hahaha but I was very proud of them! Not just of what they did physically but how they acted mentally.

At first my neice came in and she said, "You are’t suppose to dance on the pole to gospel music." I sort of expected that. She is very mature for her age. She’s only 12 but she’s been through so many hardships already that she’s really a young adult. She started her cycle at 10 yrs old and she was also molested by her blood father (who’s in jail now the bastard) poor thing. I know it’s very hard on her. Hell it’s hard for grown women so I can imagine on a child. So I knew she would be more well rounded and educated in the ways of the world as far as pole dancing than the boys are. After we all sat down and talked about it as a family though and she actually got to try the pole out and see some of my videos and some videos on here she acknowledged that pole dance is not just for strippers and that what we do is really art and expression. They were all able to see that a dance pole is just a piece of fitness equipment jus like every other piece of workout equipment and it’s up to the individual to choose how they wish to express themselves that make pole dance clean or dirty. We all also had a lesson in how we judge others without even realizing it. I love my family. I really do. I wouldn’t trade them for all the riches in the world. I also love all you gals and guys for being so courageous and wonderful and inspiring me to be comfortable with myself and not be ashamed of anything I do.

For that I will always be greatful. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Foxy, I’m gonna catch up on the forums this weekend when things slow down for me a bit. Things have been crazy busy for me lately. I’m so behind. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

@Neke, You are so right. I noticed that too. Light always outshines the darkness! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I’m going to dwell on the positive stuff because that’s the kind of person I am. I look on the bright side of things. And you are too special to me not to smile 24-7 in your honor. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

@Tocarra, hehehe thank you love. You may think your thoughts are jumbled but you came in crystal clear. Your message to me was perfect and powerful. I really appreciate you taking the time to send me some encouragement cuz you really didn’t have to. I am really humbled that you thought enough of me to do so. Thank you so much! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

@branquinha, it sorta felt bad at first, I’m not going to lie. But the feeling didn’t last long. The universe sent me it’s warmth through all of you and that made me feel right as rain. I have no doubt now that I’m on the right path, doing the right thing. I will just continue to pray that I’m able to complete my purpose here.

@Trena, love you too babe!! hehehe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thanks all!! I really do love you all so very much. I would have posted it on here but the file is too big https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif You all keep me going. I would be dead inside if it wasn’t for you all and I honestly know that if I didn’t know you guys I would have quit along time ago and just folded under the pressures of the world. I would have surely conformed. But you alls strength and courage gave me the will to push on. Not just by the worlds you say but by the actions you do. I know you all catch a lot more hell than I do being women dancers in a egomanic macho man dominated world. But you don’t let that stop you. You put on your heels and makeup, fix your hair up beautiful, dress your beautiful kids and get em off to school, go to hectic and some times (lowpaying) jobs everyday, and put up with us crazy men’s SH^#!!!! And at the end of the day you shuck it all off your shoulders and pole your lil hearts out! People call you all kinds of names. Even from other women. All the while you never complain. You keep on trucking. Keep on moving. Doin you. Thank is a beautiful thing to me. I am nothing but inspired humbled by you all. I just want to do you all proud. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Hey benice!! *hugz* https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thank you so much love. I’m not sure what is wrong with ppl. Probably combination of things. Hurt, pain, attempted to transfer emotions, social conditioning by religious institutions, demons? I have no idea. It’s sad but I can’t waste my time putting emotions into that. I have too much work to do https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I doubt it will blow over. This is just the tip of the iceberg I’m sure because I’m certainly not gonna quit. In fact the answer to my media drama is done processing……………………..NOW! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Bless you all for your kind words. Your encouragement and support means so much to me. It means more than the harsh negative things that people say. I wish I could that those things didn’t affect me at all but unfortunately to some degree they do. I would be a liar if I said it doesn’t. Although the degree is very little, pain is pain none the less. But your encouragement and love for me means so much more!!! It takes me higher than those that drag me down. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif And it doesn’t stop me from having joy and love for the world and wanting to spread that love around. I still love the world and I still love it’s people. Each and everyone of them. I will try to be strong. I know that I’m in for a war and this is just one battle. It’s prepping us for larger things to come. If something should happen to me I want you guys to know something. People are not always the true representation of the higher power that they think themselves to be.

I don’t mean to preach but whether or not Christ actually walked this Earth or not, his basic teachings really are the true path to joy and happiness. Loving thy neighbor as thy love thyself. How you treat yourself is an indication of how you treat others. How you treat others is an indication of how you treat yourself. Forgive others so that yea may also be forgiven. Not that I believe that there is a judging human God looking over each of us and waiting to reward the righteous and punish the wicked but I’m speaking more so on a here and now scale. When you harbor anger, hostility, resentment, sadness, guilt, worry, etc. over people and over situations you have no control over those things have power over you and even have the potential to reak havoc over your mind and physical body. Ultimately being negative to others comes back on ownselves. Learn to have power over your own mind and thoughts and let those negative thoughts go. Replace them with unconditional love. Everyone has a sad story and we all have a basic understanding of why people do the things they do in life. Dysfunctional childhoods, broken relationships/marriages, diseases, poverty, stress over work and financial struggles, etc. We all have it. We all live in the same world. Forgive those people who harm you. As long as you hold unto it, it will always have control over you. When you fill your hearts and minds with nothing but thoughts of joy of love the world becomes a reflection of that to you. Accept others where they are in life. Accept yourself and embrace your limitations. You are always growing. You are always getting better. You are constantly evolving. Don’t be frustrated by moves you can’t do today. There is a reason why you can’t do them. The reason will become clear when you actually learn to do the move tomorrow.

Don’t wait for the world to change. BE the change that you want to see in the World. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Sorry for my ramblings. I just had to get out of my system. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Love you gals and keep on swinging!!!

Wow thank you Adamseve!!! That was a lovely point!!! That really does make a lot of sense the way you break it down. And I was also sitting here thinking that I see beautiful women in church all the time singing, dancing, and carrying on and I can’t even recall having impure thoughts at that given moment. Maybe perhaps later outside or something but definitely not while the spirit is being moved. Then again it is an atmosphere of church and most people are watching me from wherever they are at time. I don’t know. It just seems like to me no matter how attractive someone is or what they are doing there is a time and place for everything.

Well, Jungle, to quote Amcut in response to the thread about my husband not wanting me to post videos – people can masturbate to just about anything. Heck, some people out there would get off just from seeing your feet because they have a foot fetish, but does that mean that you should always wear socks and shoes in your videos???

Hehe after that long, deep post I just did, now I go and say something like that. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif

OMG i just saw this!!!! You are too hilarious!!!! God I love you!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Thank you Frida for your encouraging words. I really appreicate you love! And sign me up for some of those shirts!!!! I’m going to try to think of some cute slogans. It’s hard for me to think. I’m not really sad but I don’t feel very motivated right now, to dance or do anything. I think I just need a couple of nights sleep to let this all past over. I’m not really that bothered by it but sometimes the reality of the way the world is just hits me pretty hard sometimes. To a certain extent I don’t care what people think about me and to a certain extent I do. I won’t let anyone make me quit but it’s always a little bit discouraging when people get offended by my praise dances. Whenever it does harm I’m saddened but I’m very happy that they do more good. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I’ll hang tough gang. You all do the same! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif
