Hi Polefairy,
My mom and dad both had the same problem. My parents have always dyed their hair but until the last couple of times did it get worse. It's very strange.
In my teens I always dyed my hair, even bleached it to highlight it and had no issues. Now, I like my hair pitch black. I recently dyed it a few months ago and my scalp was very irritated, itchy and red. Thank god it didn't get any worse than that though. I don't think I'm willing to do it again.
I don't have a solution or recommendation but if you happen to figure something out – please share 🙂 Good luck!

Just an FYI – I haven't bought anything from this merchant yet so I'm not sure if they sell the real stuff. Their reviews are good though. I would suggest buying one pack to make sure first.

Search for "swarovski flatback crystals" the size you want is anywhere from 12mm-20mm (or smaller) depending on how small or big you want the crystals. Lots of people mix the sizes so they can cover the entire surface. This is what I have my eye on:

I know this post is a bit old already but has anyone covered the entire bottom of their heels? Does it hold up to all the dancing, shoe "clapping" and things like that? They look beautiful with everything covered and I really want to do them but I'm not sure if they will hold up.

To be absolutely safe 3 months. I made the mistake of pushing it too hard and I ended up with an infection which caused one side to not heal properly and it became hard. Not to say this will happen to anyone that does the same… But if you spend thousands of dollars and altering your body with implants, it is better safe than sorry. Btw this was way before poling though.

Thanks all – feeling much better about it. It's funny how one little off comment can offset million compliments.
@paunobs: thanks for your insight…and no worries about the mult posts 🙂
@amy: thank you so much for this – everytime I hear someone's months/years of experience I never judge it right off the bat. There are too many factors as you mentioned. Btw (offtopic) – thanks to your blog I got my shoulder mount down!
@nolaelle: don't apologize! You come from a good/positive place. I admit myself I have done the same but I always follow with how I admire their abilities. I would never want someone to feel bad.

JBStarryEyedGirl & kissingaudrey – I too have a main one then a few others for speciality type stuff. I too dispise cattiness and I try to avoid it as much as possible. I feel like every studio has some of it to a certain degree. Some more than others. I try my best to keep my distance or kill them with kindness 🙂 Just yesterday I cheered on someone that hit a trick and complimented the boots they were wearing and I swear I heard crickets. Erks the crap outta me – just don't understand why some girls are plain mean!

Cinara – thanks for your insight on this and what you say makes complete sense. I feel the same way about the traditional type of training which is why I train at different studios.
nymphdancer – yes, i sometimes underestimate the amount of talent and variety of choices I have around my location but I am certainly thankful for it.
Veena – thank you for your comments as well! I actually forgot to count the site as one of my studios so that actually makes it 5 🙂
KittyNyanNyan – sorry to hear about the issues you're going through. That's really unfortunate that drama like that happens. We are all here to learn and have FUN with pole!!!
Empyrean – thanks for the insight from an instructor point of view. I'm going to continue what I am doing and make the most out of the studios I go to.

Thank you JeHanne. You took the words right outta my head. I beat myself up way too much sometimes but I have to keep reminding myself that it's a journey and not a race. One thing that I find hard is going to progressive /workshop classes and keeping up with everyone else in the class. I don't have a hard time doing that but sometimes I want to be the A++ student!
