It will take time to recover. Probably 3 months and even then it will be slow. Also you want to make sure the cut will be below bikini line. Make sure you don’t lay out in the sun or if you do cover the scar. On some people the scar will eventually fade others like me the scar did not fade and the doctor did not cut low enough, so every bikini you can see my scar. It has been over 10 years and it never faded. I wish I would have put my money towards a personal trainer and nutritionist. Even with the tummy tuck I still have to watch what I eat or else I will have a fat tummy with a scar.

Congrats!  I remember how I was so excited too when I accomplished the pole climb.  Keep it up. You are building strength.  Once you can climb with ease you can practice variations of  climbs too.

Are you taking any herbal supplements? About 10 years ago I was taking herbal supplements and needed to take advil for a headache.  I started having joint pain in the legs.  So I took more advil. The pain moved to my elbows, so I took more advil.  I went to the doctors and they couldn't figure out what was going on.  Unitl the doctor asked if I was taking herbal supplements.  I stopped taking the supplements and the joint pain went away within a few weeks.  I am not sure which supplement it was that when mixing with advil caused the joint pain.  It was a terrible experience because the advil would stop the pain, but also with the supplements would add to more pain.

I am on there, but don't understand this following stuff.  Unsure about posting anything related to pole because of who might be following.  I would only want fellow polers to follow, not family or some friends.   So I just lurk right now until I understand this stuff.

Last night.  I don't count it as a fall off the pole, but I slipped fast down it.  I was doing the Shoulder Mount  and lost all grip and just slid down.  Scary sliding down that fast.  Luckily my head was tucked and landed on that hard bone just before my neck.  It hurt a little.  Scared the daylights out of me.

I have taken my shoes to a shoe repair place.  One of them the strap came off and the pad tore on the shoe….cost $20.  Didn't get them fixed.  Figured I didn't pay that much for them to be worth fixing that way.  Instead on those I bought garder belt and cut off strap super glued pad and then when I wear them I wrap the garder around shoe and ankel.

The other pair of shoes the metal buckel thing broke and that was free to fix.  All the guy said to me is " you must like these type of shoes".

Then there is another pair that broke too.  yes I must be hard on shoes. Anyways these shoes the shoe the pad came up from toe to middle of foot.  I used super glue. That worked.
