I’m 44 just started a few months ago. I am not flexible but working on it. I hope by next year at this time I will be in the best shape of my life. I used to go to the gym every other day and lift weights and cardio. I still go to the gym not as often because I am getting my strength training from the pole. The pole is much more fun.
Yes, at first I felt like being the odd one and wish I had found this sport when I was younger. Thinking my body could handle the moves better. Maybe so, but I am conditioning it and it just might take a little longer with the help of some advil.
DH loves seeing me on it even if I am a beginner.

Is this still available?
ORIGINAL DVDS w/ original cases-
Leign Ann’s Beginner Pole Dance Workout-perfect condition. The DVD is a good introduction for beginners to pole dance as well as more experienced dancers who are having difficultly linking moves together through smooth transitions. The focus is heavily towards creating a smooth, flowing dance routine as well as demonstrating basic spins, poses and climbs.
Its normally $30 plus shipping, I’m asking $20 plus shipping.I am interested.

Sadly to say my husband is out of town. He plows snow in Maryland and they got hammered and they keep getting more snow every couple of days. He was trying to get back on Saturday, and return Sunday night or Monday morning for the next batch of snow, but complications of empolyees, equipment breaking down etc. He might get to come home sometime next week. Although he has a trip planned for CA for the weekend of the 18th. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_shaking.gif
So I plan on trying to figure out how I can send a video email sexy outfit and pole for him. Or Skype.
At home I have Valentine goodie bags for the kids and take one of my dogs to get a shot.

you can have decaffinated tea
Hot decaffinated tea with a lemon is best because it curbs your hunger.

Very Beautiful. When I reach that level of pole moves, I want your photographer. Very stunning, hot sexy, to die for pictures.

Congrats!!! The cradle was tough for me when I first learned it too…I could get into position but would spin slooooooowly one revolution and then be left hanging there.
Such a pretty move!
Yep, that’s what was happening to me.

I live in MD for 17 years then 2 years ago I moved to FL. Only 2 months ago I got the pole bug. I get to MD every summer to visit with family. I hope to meet up with some of you when I come up. If I only knew about poling when I lived there.

I am not a fan of country music either…but there is two songs that are country that I like. I don’t know the names of them.
One of them is about riding a steel horse. I like it and I think of my pole as my steel horse.

MemberFebruary 1, 2010 at 6:52 pm in reply to: How old were you when you discovered pole dance?Started poling 3 mo ago age 44. The club (date night with hubby) had just installed a pole and a week later classes started before club open. 2 weeks after that went on vacation in Nov. to Hedo and Dance Wicked for a Week was there. I met empyrean and went to a few of the workshops (because we got there middle of it). They had a show the day after we arrived. I was able to learn 1 routine and was in my first show with them. My name got put into a drawing and I won 2 DVD’s and online lessons from KT Coates. Then for Christmas hubby got me a pole. I am still doing classes at the club and now some at the fitness center called Shapes and also today signed up for Veenas lessons. I just can’t get enough! I never took gymnastics or dance and I have done aerobics at the gym and have two left feet. So even poling is challengeing. It takes a few repeated times before I can figure out moves to even try them. I am so looking forward to really getting toned up and strength! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Everyone that is 40 and above you have and are inspiring me!
