Hey Veena, thank you for the quick reply! The steamer idea is awesome, I will try out the steaming function of my iron, but I’m glad to hear that using a window cleaner is the best option as that is what I have been using so far as “emergency option” – the one from Method to be more specific. I am one of the polers that needs the pole to be cleaned only every now and then, especially now that the pole is new and has still sort of a “oily” coating. The steam might help precisely for that 👌🏻

So far it’s all going well, I actually did not start following the program consistently yet because my family gifted me a one-month course (2 times per week) in a local pole studio. I had my first lecture last night, and since the local course is taught in a language that I don’t speak yet (I am Italian, I live in Finland), even if the teacher is very kind and speaks English when I have questions or I look lost, I don’t grasp fully some details (the language barrier atm is alright as I am used to it and I am learning Finnish, so this helps too). When I got back home from my lecture, I had a moment of rehearsal by myself of the tricks and spins we went through using your lectures, and yesterday it worked really well. Some simple tricks that I didn’t not achieve in the class came up very nicely after it following your lectures, and it was deeply rewarding. Let’s see where this heads but so far, apart from the general frustration of starting over (which I think anyone feels after long breaks), I am extremely happy to get back on the pole. I will keep updated! Here is a little picture from a video I took of myself doing one of the fireman spin variations on spinning pole from your lecture, using the power grip 🙂

And then, sorry again for the other typos, I haven’t proofed too much the text back. Too much excitement 😂
