    Hi Kylie!

I think you can find a lot of tips and techniques in these threads:
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2068
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=34
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3997

There is also a group called Bendy Buddies, who try to meet in chat once a week to stretch together. More info:
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4058
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4094

Also, I heard Veena is working on some stretching lessons. But those are still in the works.

Finally, there is a thread where you can post your progress:
    http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2322

Good luck, and have fun stretching!!

THANKS! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif i’ll have to check those links out!

I just got itac2 in the mail and am VERRRY dissapointed. Followed the instructions, jumped up to do a pole sit and it felt like i had applied baby oil to my hands instead…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif maybe it’s because my hands are of the more sweaty variety but i did not think it would be THAT bad. yeah so if you get sweaty easily i wouldn’t try this…i wasn’t even sweaty though when i tried this stuff. GRRR, waste of 15 bucks… :.[

awww! i got a free sample of itac2 from the web…
    it didnt work for me
nor did mighty grip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif !!
either , 1: i have hopelessly sweaty hands
    or
2: i’m nervous getting up on the pole, which causes the sweating, which means as my comfort level increases, the perspiration will subside.

i did get mighty grip gloves and I LOVE THEM!

you can donate the grip aids you dont like to local pole studios for other students to try out…

That’s a good idea! buttttt i don’t think their are any studios around me… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif but yeah maybe the sweat chemistry in our hands are just too much. the itac2 makes me more slippery…like dangerously slippery!

So I just got my itac2 and I like it. You only need a little little bit I used way to much the first time if you use too much it leavs nastyness all over the pole!

dang. maybe i used too much! i used like….a dime sized amount.

Empy is 100% correct. We are all different and some things may work for one and dont work well for another. You could even find one that works for you at one time of themonth and another for a different time of the month. Or you could be like me and need different types of grip aide for different parts of your body. I use dryhands on my hands (I don’t have sweaty hands) for inverted split grips but when my body gets so sweaty I slide right out of a Gemini I dust my torso with mighty grip and it helps. You’re probably going to come out best by trying different stuff out and seeing what works for you. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

yeah i’m going to go for the dust next! i heard of girls even using hairspray or shaving cream? i don’t think i’ll be trying those methods…yuck, lol.
