Hi Staygold, it's definitely a problem that I have, and it is frustrating. I've been taking "Nature's Way" Leg Vein vitamins. I've been taking it for about a week or two now, and the veins on my legs have actually diminished in appearance! It's not perfect and I haven't seen much of a change on other parts of my body, but it does seem to be effective for the legs…at least initially. Worth a try, but it's not FDA approved since its homeopathic. I bought mine from amazon. I've also been told that skin tanners work, but I'm reluctant to allow those chemicals to seep into my skin.

Hi FreetheSun,
Yes, I think you've got it right. I'm thin and pasty, and although I've always been strong, I've never been as strong as I've become through poling (and i used to weight train–there is nothing like poling!). The veins aren't aesthetically pleasing, but if they indicate better blood flow, it's all good.

Hi FreetheSun– yes, that definitely makes sense. I wonder, however, why the veins stay visible–I hope it's not permanent, but I discover more veins after each pole session, and they've not gone away : (

Hi Runemist,
Thanks for the input. I'm rather thin, but am getting veins in area where I've got more cushion too. It may be a circulation problem. I was just curious if it happens to anyone else.
