Charley, I don’t want to speak for her but she seems really open – I know the owner of the studio here just invited her. Austin is a cool city and all, but I felt bad that we didn’t have a better turnout for her https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif She was supposed to teach a ‘Pole Power’ class yesterday but they couldn’t even get 6 people (her minimum) to sign up! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif People missed out BIG TIME! I’m so glad I got to do a one-on-one with her, but I was really looking forward to that class. I bet Detroit would get a better turnout, you should contact her!

Untamedshrew…..well I’m glad you didn’t notice the poor kitty getting killed https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I was like https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif when I first saw that photo yesterday! Celesta Danger is the artist/photographer, she’s amazing but definitely has a very edgy hardcore style, the studio is literally covered in her work.

Roxy-Pink, I’m not sure – but I know she has alot of info on her website, and I think she’s really open to studio invitations!

I’m so jealous!!! You should post a vid and show us what she taught you! I wanna see what you learned! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I need to do a new video so badly, I will totally post one soon! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

YESS!!! Thanks Lily! Nice to see I’m not completely off my rocker, here! I haven’t seen the program for kids, but he mentions it and the basics of it a lot so I know how it works.

Good luck with FPU! It’s an awesome program and it works as long as you stick with it. It’s great it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme and it’s good ol’ fashioned hard work and it really pays off. Good luck and PM me if you wanna chat about it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Thanks sweetie! I’m so glad it’s been such a good thing for you! I really want to finish the FPU series, he’s a great reacher and so engaging to watch.

Ok this is random, but I’ve only been on one forum that uses DH and similar abbreviations… and that was the Total Money Makeover forums… do we have Dave Ramsey fans here??? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif Or am I way off-base and it’s more common than I think?

LOL I’ve heard DH on other forums.

LOL Foxy Rei! We love Dave Ramsey too…..been doing some of the Financial Peace University at home on our own time, but we’re really doing his program for kids with our 3-year old daughter. He’s fantastic.

I’ve also seen DH on many other forums, it seems to be pretty common! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

I’m pretty sure bobbi sells permanents b/c I emailed her a while ago and asked. She apparently just gets the spinny flanges from a plumber supply store and buys the pole separate which is where I got the idea for my own pole. I went to grainger.com and ordered 2 ‘ball bearing’ flanges and separately bought an 8 foot brass tube (google "brass tubing"). My DH had to trim the pole a few millimeters (luckily he has a metal cutter) and we put it together. I ordered everything in 38mm (1.5"). LOVE IT!!!! Are you able to go to bobbi’s studio? What I wouldn’t give to return to Australia and spend a week there fine tuning my moves!!!

Wow does she really?? The removable 38mm pole I have from her came in pieces that screw together much like the X-pole. I wonder if her permanent poles are cheaper or the same price as the removable ones…..So, when you bought your brass tubing did you buy just a single piece then? Hmmm…..I’m really thinking about trying to make my own pole now! How did you bolt it to your ceiling? And what do you use for the floor flange?

That’s so fantastic you have trained at her studio, I’m so jealous! I can tell from the way you dance you’re influenced by her! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I’m in Texas….so I’m very far away but it’s a dream to travel to Australia one day and take some classes at her studio!

^^^^ Sorry if I’ve missed where you’ve posted this before Angel – but I’d love to know where you got your spinny skinny brass poles! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif Mine is from Bobbi’s Pole Studio, I love it and want another one. My DH (that means Dear Husband https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif ) is wanting to build a little apartment off our house with a pole room, I’ve been loving your videos because the set-up we envision is pretty much just what you have. I’m trying to figure out if I should get another one of the removable Bobbi’s Poles, or see if she sells a permanent one, or find another source for a permanent pole. I do also love the TG 45mm X-pole…..it really does kill me to try to dance on a regular 50mm so I’m also thinking of maybe getting my second pole in a wider diameter. I’d love to be able to dance on any pole!

remember that adorable Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing? After her nose job she was just another pretty girl in LA trying to get a role. And oh man, have any of ya’ll seen pics of Bruce Jenner (Kim Kardashian’s stepdad) lately? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Freaking sad.
My only concern is there are no guaranties. Jennifer Grey looks like a completely different person. I could never do ANYTHING to my face though. I have thought a lot about this subject and I feel this is the path for me. If there was a way to do it naturally I would. I wouldn’t do it for anyone else either. I would only do it for myself. It’s defiantly got to be about you. Make sure you consider all the non-surgical options as well.

She really does, and she had so much character and uniqueness before! When I was younger I always hated my nose and thought I’d get it tweaked one day….but I was always afraid of messing with my face too, especially when you see people like Jennifer Grey. Since I hit 30 things changed and it’s like I grew into my nose or something, I’m so glad I never did anything!

Welcome SugarDiva! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif So glad you’re loving the pole! It took me a verrrry long time to just pull myself up on the pole or do even the most basic of spins, but like you I was amazed at the changes I saw in my body so early on, even whan all I was doing was running into the pole like a dumbass and bruising the hell out of myself https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif – it’s such a fantastically challenging sport – I love it!! You’ll LOVE it here, if you haven’t already sign up for Veena’s lessons, they’re awesome!

Regarding some of Foxy Rei’s points – eeeek that would really suck to have a botched surgery https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif OR to end up looking totally weird and not like yourself….remember that adorable Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing? After her nose job she was just another pretty girl in LA trying to get a role. And oh man, have any of ya’ll seen pics of Bruce Jenner (Kim Kardashian’s stepdad) lately? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Freaking sad.

ITA that you can’t go into something like this looking for ‘happiness’. If you’re looking for ONLY a c-cup and fully know it won’t change anything else about your life (besides your income possibly, depending on your job https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif ) odds are you’ll get your c-sized breasts and that will be that – that’s how it was for me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif BA’s are overwhelmingly safe and successful, with tummy tucks and lipo though it seems there is more potential for disaster…..poor poor Tara Reid https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Again CBR600, only YOU know the right reasons for you, don’t worry about people who pass judgment. Just worry about your plastic surgeon’s reputation and success rate. And LOVE yourself, and the precious little boy your tummy gave you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
