I started because I hate CARDIO! LOL and part of my bodybuilding training requires cardio. However, since I started doing it I found it’s a release for me…I feel young, confident, even sexy when I pole…I do it alone and don’t have to hear comments like "your too old for that" or "don’t you think you should grow up!"…I’ve heard that when I’ve gone out dancing or even sometimes at the gym….it’s my piece of serenity, and it really helped me get in shape much faster than weights alone.

Trust me..Veena’s lessons are very expert…but it is your responsibility to do them in the order she teaches them and the way she tells you to do them to prevent injury. I purchased her lessons to help break down the moves…I showed a few of her lesson vids to the owner of the gym I work at…he is a exercise physiologist, personal trainer and teaches at a Business college…he also has his Master’s in Kinsology (sp?). He was EXTREMELY impressed with her accurate breakdown of point of contact, use of which muscle etc. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

That is also caused from an area of the lower spine and or hip being out of alignment. I had a bad bout 5 years ago (while working as a nurse). The NP that worked on my floor told me to see a chiropractor as she had a similar experience. I took her advise and found I had impingement because my sacrum, lower lumbar and hip were out of alignment just enough to cause me severe pain. It worked wonders…no more pain! Good luck to you.

Here is a very kid friendly recipe for pancakes…the other ones some kids don’t like because of the texture.

2 whole eggs, 1 cup cottage cheese, 4-6 pks splenda, 1 cup uncooked oatmeal, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2-1 tsp. vanilla. Optional one banana. Mix all ingreds in blender in the order given, when smooth cook as you would regular pancakes…these are very high in protein and keep you full because of the complex carb. THEY ARE AWESOME!!

Oh you might want to try the protein pancakes…I love them! For 1 pancake.

1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, !/4 cup oats (prefereably old fashioned oats), 4 packets of splenda, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cin. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring. Spray pan with cooking spray (preferably olive oil spray)…cook about two minutes on one side…then carefully flip and finish cooking. You can spray some buttery spray on it (just a few spritz of it) and top off with sugar free syrup…or you can use fresh fruit with a packet of splenda.

It’s ok to have them in moderation…the only time they are not allowed is for competition diets.

There are vegans on mybodysite.com that can help you with that. One thing that my kids loved was grilled cheese with apple slices on whole grain bread…you use a buttery spray to cook it…I can’t believe it’s not butter works great.
