Great news on you getting some pics done https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Im really lucky as one of my best freinds is a proffesional photographer,i recently done 2 photo sets in his studio on the pole,What i did was looked at lots of peoples pole pics and made a list of what looked good and names of moves that way when your head goes blank lol mine does alot!you can look at ur list https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Figure head is great pose, star, gemini,to b honest the list would b endless hehe

As for having a dark background,i think white, silver anything that will stand out against it will look good.

Im sure you will come up with great idears and make poses your own https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I have to see a chiro once every now and then as i end up with a twisted pelvis and it puts pressure on my lower back, its quiete annoying but apparently even people that dont exercise get this problem,i also had ligament damage to my lower back from over stretching, but thankfully its better now:-)I found using heat really helps the back, but not as soon as its been injured as it makes more blood flow in the area.

Seeing a chiro for me was the best thing, thats would i would do if i was you,my back is loads better from seeing one.

    Goodluck

Im really glad this thread has been started as i also would love to teach. When i first started poling i did it for fitness and nothing more, now as time has gone on and im learning more and more, its only now i think about teaching.I think there are many things to think about, like being able to get explain things clearly, there must be teaching courses,i would never go into anything like this without realy knowing about poling myself and being able to do many tricks etc,im still learning so mayb in the future i can look forward to becoming more of a teacher!

I have basically taught myself moves, with the knoledge of others and watching videos,im thinking mayb i should also do classes,so i can see how other teachers work.

Thank for this post! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Maddie x
