    Lyme! lol, you're so funny.

Never used one. I got an IUD, took care of that pesky period problem. Don't even have them anymore. 🙂

But I wonder if the cups would work with a tilted cervix? I'd consider using one when I get my IUD removed but idk if it'd fit right. Hmmm…

Well, maybe I can answer your question. So at work we have smoke that comes out of the stage. It smells sweet, so I'm guessing it has some sort of sugary component. However, I've never noticed a residue on the pole from it. The biggest thing is being able to see. Sometimes it can be hazy and dancing can be a bit dangerous. Lol

I guess my issue with this is there are many other things that sexualize children but everyone is A-okay with that. But pole, ohhhh nooo…we're turning them into strippers! I mean come on. Take pageants for instance. Mothers dress up their kids, put on makeup, false eyelashes, skimpy sequined costumes, tease their hair to no end and make them dance/sing/perform provocatively to win the judge's vote. No one seems to have an issue with that. In fact, there are television shows devoted to covering children's beauty pageants.

Our society as a whole sexualizes women at a very young age. I see girls in grade school wearing makeup and revealing clothing. I'm not saying it's right but I think women like to shame other women out of jealousy. We need to stick together and stop all the hate.

There is an obesity epidemic in this country. I don't see how an alternative form of exercise can be a bad thing. It's not like we're putting little girls in thongs and sky high heels. Pole dance/fitness is a legitimate form of exercise and can be something fun both mother and daughter can do together that encourages physical fitness.

Hey bb, if you want some info, PM me. But basically you need to go check out the clubs you are interested in. They won’t tell you straight up what rent is, you do have to pay to work. So sometimes you may go home in the red. Average cash is 300-500 per shift. Certain girls can make way more.

I have a SS Lil Mynx. If I would have known how slippery it was going to be, I would have never purchased it. 🙁  I have tried most everything. Windex, vinegar, soap and water. The only thing that really seems to help is to coat it in wax. I just roll a fat candle over it. It gives it more grip. I want to buy an X-pole to replace it when I get some extra money. Sanding it is another option.

CapFeb, yeah, I have been through her video multiple times. I think the yoga plows really help but in terms of starting from the ground up…errrr, I fail. I can only SM from a standing position. I don't really swing up into my SM either. I kind of just lift and grab.

Ahhh…that's so cool. Maybe one day when my shoulder mount doesn't suck so much. haha.

A few things, like others already mentioned..don't drink calories. 2.) Don't take any money with you, leave it in your car! haha. I work 12 hr shifts and sometimes around 4pm I'm craving sugar. If I don't have any money, I can't stop off at the vending machine. 3.) Try some substitutions. I really like the Luna Protein bars. They are different than the regular Luna bars. They're nougat-like and covered in chocolate plus have tons of protein, so you fill up without a lot of calories. 4.) Distraction. If you're really busy or caught up in a project, you can tend to forget about those cravings for a bit.

Hmm…I'm bad at combos, in general but there are a few that I like to do. Shoulder mount to crucifix to caterpillar climb to elbow grip ayesha to falling star. Another one I do a lot is butterfly or extended butterfly to gemini to inverted V.

Those girls are awesome!  Katana, actually that kind of popping is really good for your abs and thighs. You have to tighten your core to pop your booty or else you'll kind of fall over. And when you get lower to the ground, it really works the thighs. 🙂

I think the stretching DVDs are great but Sexy Fundamentals and the Floorwork DVDs are lacking. They seem to be more about showcasing Alethea's talent rather than teaching you anything in a meaningful manner. I used to suck at floorwork but I'm getting better from dancing at the club. I wish the Floorwork DVD would be easier to understand but she runs through everything so quickly without much explanation that it's lost on me. 🙁

Well I recently started dancing to pay off my tuition for my master’s degree. I was under the impression that I’d be making king cash. I do alright but I pay $125 in fees before I make any money to take home.

Don’t kid yourself, nice guys don’t go to strip clubs, unless it’s a bachelor party. Most men are there to get something from you at the lowest price possible. Lots of married, old men looking for excitement.

And pole dancing may be just a dream. My club’s poles are static, aren’t securely mounted, and are covered in cocoa butter from all the other girls’ skin. I’m done as soon as I make my money.
