@lilbit a typical day i will wake up and have my one bad thing a day which is coffee with sugar and cream. I will either have a bowl of oatmeal with fruit or i will have regular cheerios.

I will have usually a chicken salad with light ranch dressing for lunch

Will have a snack of some sort of fruit when the kids get home and eat there snack.

Ill usually have some sort of lean meat, a veggie and salad ect for dinner

I’ve cut down my portion size to where they are small portion size (the correct portion size lol)

    I drink a good 80+ oz a day

    I pole about 4 times a week for a hour-hour and a half and walk 5 days a week for 3-4miles a day

@ Colette.they have run a whole string of blood tests on me.. My thyroid came back right smack dab in the middle of normal. Everything came back normal except my Iron and FSH (which the fsh is a whole different story lol)

No, not on Birth control . Been TTC for 15 mths with no luck unfortunetly. I’ve pretty much am eating healthy except Tuesday nights for dinner bc its one of those i dont have much time to cook for a family of 5. I have pole class amoung other things to do that night..and if i left it up to my husband they would have cereal to eat for dinner https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I know i shouldn’t like the scale at all..i shouldn’t look at it..but regardless if its muscle or fat the damn thing still says 153!! And i’ve been 115-120. I didn’t even weight this much 9mths preggo.. I think its what bugs me the most. I mean am i always going to be at this weight as long as i have the muscle? Im only 5’2"-5"3" ..it is not flattering

Also, one more thing..what is a good excersize to get rid of back fat/tone side abs. Thats my main problem area. Before poling it was my theighs and my little bit of pooch..but i can’t seem to get those 2 areas to do anything

I was one of those that got into the invert by week 2 (note: i had a background of gymnastics ect) at first i was kicking, then realized i should not be..If you dont kick into it..you work on your core/abs a LOT better then kicking into it..and you’ll be proud of yourself for doing it too with just your abs as well..I was real bent on learning my SM without kicking since i learned to do your basic invert starting out kicking..granted when im having a lazy day ill kick into it..but it doesn’t benifit my "workout" much by doing so…Plus you can get hurt doing so

    Good post polebunny https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I found a new ap on my android phone today.. You scan the barcode of what your eating…it tells you what it is..how much calories..and asks you how much you ate..and keeps track for you.. It also keeps track of how much you work out and counts calories ganed/burned ect..and weight loss tracking as well. pretty neat ap!

You could be over working your muscles. they say give a days rest. Try doing them every other day and see if that helps

I have a Chrome pole..For it to be the perfect amt of sticky..It can’t be too hot, nor too cold..Too little of too much of humidity. Couple weeks back it was sooo humid out here that it just made you drenched in sweat within 20 secs of going outside. Sweating and poling usually dont like each other. I try and make it about 72 in my house so that its about perfect to pole..I’ve heard nothing but good things about mighty grip from the girls i pole with. Im hesitant to use it bc i dont want to get dependant on it..but sometimes people really need it. Congrats on the baby, just take your time and work on spins and muscle toning first if your pole is being a pain right now. Good Luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I did 30 mins of stretching last night..along with a hour of poling. Today is my off day, the kids are home so i can’t walk, plus i have pole class tomorrow with stretching. Dont want to over work my muscles..Ended up with a NASTY bruise in my calf last time https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Started my pedometer yesterday. Goal for 9k steps. Doubt it will happen except for the weekdays when i go walking when i get the kids on the bus..Good Luck this week everyone https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

after the butterfly ( i dont know what you can or can’t do sry https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif ) I would go into a straight line scorpio and then pull up into a pole sit. I’ve been working on that same transition..still have to get my flatline scorpio…well flat haha

We tried this in class last week..I think i was the only one who was too chicken to climb the pole and do it lol..half of the class go it and i was paranoid of the pole burn that was going to happen when i finally lifted my left leg off the ground! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I guess its something that you just have to learn to say the hell with the burn and keep working on..The ladies seem to give great advice here tho, so i may work up the courage and try it up the pole instead of trying to do it off the floor lol
