It dries my hands out more as well..altho i would hate to see what my hands looked like in the winter going this route. I wouldn’t think there was such a thing as too much windex.. I could be wrong though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

sharing it with my three kids, I don’t get as much time as I would like. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
I hear ya, there is no point in me even attempting to get a good workout with my kids when they are home…yesterday instead of me working out ..my 7 year old wanted to learn how to do a cradle and reverse grab spin…the other 2 wanted to be monkeys and see who could touch the ceiling first (sigh)

i use to play..then my pole took too much of my wow time LOL

I have had acid reflux for 5 years now..Absolutly hate it too! Anywho. Im like you..when i start puking from it..it lasts awhile..I use the soft chew rolaids, and if i am really bad..Galvascom (taste NASTY lol but works wonders) Also any of the like liquid mylanta stuff works wonders as well. Try to avoid drinking a lot at one time..sip sip sip. And eat something startchy like crackers or something when you feel it..But definetly would try and get into a dr..they can look more into it, and if need be rx you something that will work.

lol..my kids think my pole is the greatest thing ever..my 4 year old comes home from preschool every m-w-f begging if he can climb the pole like a monkey (he has such a nice pole sit and i cringe when he starts sliding down) anywho it was my 7 year old daughter whom i was concerned about..especially running outside and telling our next door neighbors..i told her if she went around telling everyone that they would all want to come over and play on it, and her and i wouldn’t get too…has worked so far LOL

Even if in 6mths it does come back abnormal..Don’t worry..I had pre cervical cancer from when i found out i was pregnant with my youngest (who will be 5 in September) Until about a year ago. I went through colposcopys (where they cut a chunk out of your cervix) a bazillon paps ..and finally a leep (where they take a electric loop and cut off all the bad cells) The Leep finally got it and i’ve had great paps since then.. Even abnormal cells on a pap most of the time aren’t anything to worry about..there are only 2 strands to be a little concerned and since they caught this early even if it is that (which its most likely not) They caught it early enough! So RELAX please..stress does no good on the body https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I have 2 pairs of these..blue and black.. i LOVE them…they are actually the ones in my video..BUT with my "lovely" butt they like to play peek a boo and i spend half my time trying to cover my behind https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif lol I also have a L in these

LOL! oh that was good..i could see my daughter doing that, except it would be of mommy getting in shape on her pole..hmm how would i get out of that one

Okay, I am seriously impressed, and a little intimidated LOL
I watched your clips from your first and third day, and your already doing cool stuff, and awfully flexible too!
Did you do a dance studio class before hand, or is this literally like – I got a pole and on day one this is what I can do?
Please dont be intimidated, I edited the crap out of those lol. Had a LOT of soreness the first day. I was in gymnastics, cheer ect growing up. but that was 10 years or so ago..The only other thing i’ve done since i’ve had my kids was coach competitive cheerleading and hip hop for little girls. Im out of shape trust me, i get really tired really fast..its going to build up over time..and you have to tell yourself that.. The difference in my stamina was dramatically different between the two days..the first day i didn’t know what to expect, the 2nd day was a little easier, and the 3rd was a little easier..just like with anything it takes time to build yourself into. Im a smoker unfortently..been trying to stop forever now..but we know how that is. You can do it as long as you are determined, which seems you are!

I have no answers really for your questions, but i just started a week ago! Im really interested in what others have to add to some of your questions https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif And welcome to our little newbie section https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
Oh, wanted to add…the soreness i felt from my first poling only lasted a couple of days, as well as my new bruises lol

MemberApril 13, 2010 at 12:49 am in reply to: Slippery Pole in The Middle of a Workout SessionI have no usefull advice here, but i also have a week old xpert..From what i can tell, they are moody poles lol. I had a similar thing happen this morning that basically made me stop my work out 15 mins in..i could do spins fine, but it seemed to get super slippery when i tried to sit and no matter what i did (windex, warming it up more ect) i could not get a good grip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

My honest advice, get the xpert..it "said" have two ppl..but hubby was sleeping when i got mine and i put it up by myself with no problems and its SUPER stable.. Im short as well (5’2) so its not like i was tall to help myself there lol. It is easy to take up and down..with what you are describing you need, i definetly would go with the xpert.. Hope i helped https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
