Jamilla teaches aerial bodywaves this way (pushing the chest forward first) and this is how I do it here (the chest movement is quite subtle so dont know if u can see…)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNT5E0MLFbA&feature=youtube_gdata_playerI have seen Amy’s post and it’s great for upright bodywaves but I feel its much more difficult doing it upside down.
Here’s how this girl is doing it:

Like you said – this has helped you develop a healthy sense of fear so it has served its purpose. Thankfully it wasn`t anything serious. I`ve had something very similar happen to me so I totally relate to your experience. Hope all is well now!

I recently fell from a plain old reverse handstand. I lost my balance and experienced a painful face dive. I had a black eye for a week (I`m sure people thought I had been physically assaulted or something like that :-|). It was a major reminder for me to be very careful and in control at all time.

Good for you! Please share any tips with us 😀 I would love to be able to keep the spin going for 2-3 revolutions or so.

I love that Veena has lessons on some moves that I am in love with but I couldn`t find tutorials (or even tips) for them anywhere else e.g spin dismount, shoulder stand & floor body wave (floorwork) or falling star. Even just for those I think that they are worth it!

I prefer individual lashes to strip ones because I think they look a lot more natural. When you use a semipermanent glue that is specifically made for individual lashes (I like Ardell LashTite in Dark) they can last you about one week if you are careful with them (dont use an oil based make up remover). I apply a few lashes on my outer corners and it makes a big difference.
