I am an automotive accounting and title clerk for 2 car dealers.  I used to like my job now I just dread getting up every morning and making my way in there.  Since we opened the 2nd dealer I have been very burnt out by the job.  I am feeling like I am constantly behind in my work and can never catch up.  Every day the job gets more and more mentally draining, it makes me not even do the things I want to do (pole).  Ive been there for 6 yrs and im starting to feel ready for something else.  I have an awesome boss but Im so ready for a change.

today is the big day!!! I even told the barista at Starbucks to watch as well.  I have alot of friends who are DVR'ing it.  You know 12-14million people seeing me in my bra and underwear – NO PRESSURE AT ALL!!!  LOL

For those who cant get the show, they normally post it on YT or they post directly on their website.

Im am so excited and so nervous all at the same time.  I know the outcome and I know what was filmed but im just nervous about the editing of the segment and the aftermath.  Im nervous about the door it could/wont open, what kind of hate mail im gonna get.  But hey as my producer said – it takes alot of courage to go on that stage infront of those judges and give it your all.

nope, you can still get your convention pass.  As for booking a room, you might want to try FBing the Pole Con and seeing if anyone has any open room slots.  I will be there!

They might of made it to the next round but didnt show their orginial audition.  I dont know how Canadas work but if its like the American version, then they base their decision on if they make it to the next round, their back story etc.

I have to say its one of the best experiences Ive ever had.  That whole weekend was something really special.  It was great growth for me as a person, mom, wife, pole dancer on so many levels.

Yep Scarlett thats me.  Long red hair, kinda looks like The Little Mermaid with the costume color choice!  Ive seen myself a few times on the promos and a few other things.

Ive asked our Service Dept at work to put it on that day so we can watch some of the customers realize its me on tv.

Mine are mostly lifts, moves where you are really relying on you upper body to do alot of the work.  I guess its b/c im holding a large chunk of weight (rest of my body) and relying on my arms.  Anything split grip as well – I got tendonitis on my left wrist when I went at it hard so that fear still sits with me from time to time.

Im plus sized, and ive learned throughout the years to just love the body im in – no matter if im at my smallest or my largest.  Last year I was dignosed with PCOS and it hit me like a ton of bricks, I gained over 30lbs – add on top of that stress from trying to juggle everything on my  plate.  I was sleeping, if I ate – it was really bad for you foods.  I didnt want to work out, I didnt even want to go out with my friends.  This year I finally stepped on the scale and didnt like the number I saw.  I decided to go back to my old ways pre-pcos and get my body back.  Ive dropped about 25lbs so far, im determined to make it to 50lbs by the end of the year.  Ive been tracking my food intake on an app for my phone and that really put things into perpesctive.  I go to the gym about 3days a week and go to class one day a week.  Now since I have a performance coming up, I will probably be working on my performance 2x a week and drop a day from the gym.  I also go walking on my lunch break too.

I try not to measure by the scale but how my pants fit and I how I feel overall.

I have a list of workshops I want to take and what I wanted to see at PoleCon I blocked out on my Google Calendar which totally helps.  But I gotta find out what Platinum Stages wants to do with me over the weekend.  I volunteered to man the table for a bit.

Or the mom who gives her kid 'go go' juice – its Mountain Dew with Red Bull in it.  What on this green earth does an 8yr old need that kind of caffiene in their system, they are naturally energetic to begin with!

Melanie Kady has her own makeup that she sells and she attended one of those pagents and some of the advertisments are just crap.  One was advertising 'natural looking photos', natrual photos are my daughter playing out in the yard with her bff or showing off her personality – not caked in makeup.

I remember when she posted the video of her poling in her barn and you were praying that the barn wasnt going to come down on her.
