Tic toc! Yes I'm still stuck on this one, it's been almost a year.
Inverted splits to trapped leg SM.
Flying Oona splits

I'm bringing this topic back up to avoid starting another thread.
I'm not undertanding what exactly is helping control this move. The only part touching the pole in this move is my hands when I start moving and when I tictoc down it happens really fast and I bang my toes on the floor. Am I missing something? Should another part of my body be touching the pole? It starts off touching my thighs but once I tilt i lose contact and it's just my hands.

Yes thats the move! Thank you so much for the video and the tips. I've been trying to do it the "drop" way with the other hand grasping the hooked elbow hand, but since it's my weaker shoulder mount side I feel really insecure. I'll try it with the other hand ont he pole as a guide. Thanks!

I think amy called the ending pose a trapped leg shoulder mount splits?

There is definitely safety in numbers.

YOur son is adorable! But it's not quite the move I'm looking for, though it's close. I"m looking for a silimar move but the hands go on either side of the leg, I think sometimes with the elbow hooked around pole and leg. It ends up with the foot threaded between the arms in shoudler mount position.

My Pole Physics lotion arrived last week. I agree with everyone else about the pump being horribly designed. The top part of the pump flies off if I pump it too hard in frustruation.
The product however is really great as a moisterizer. I'm not sure if it's helping my skin grip better on the pole or not, though, because spring is here and my skin naturally gets better aroudn this time. The lotion stays on the skin and keeps hte skin protected for a very very long time. When I took a shower after poling, I can still feel lotion on the parts of my body that didnt; rub against the pole a lot meaning it was still protecting my skin 12 hrs after putting it on. Despite this, it was not slippery at all. I tried poling about 2 hours after applying and had no problem gripping either. I also really like the smell. It's neutral and light.
I'm definitely repurchasing this.

When it's just me and my camera, I have to think of what to do before hand or else I use stand there or do the smae moves again and again. But the few times I was thrown in front of a crowd, I was able to wing it and it felt and looked amazing.
On the other hand, during a fun spin competition for the ontario pole jam, I couldn't do my spin. I was UNABLE to do anything, I failed completely just becuase the word "competition" was in it, despite it being 100% friendly. 10 mins after the competition was over, I was able to do the exact same spin in front of the exact same people. Joni1 can confirm this. It's baffling.

Why not have her take the level again?
It takes some poeple longer and it's okay to retake a level. But mention private lessons to her anyway and if she likes that then go that route. SHe might be feelign dejected becuase other girls are ahead of her, tell her it's okay because people progress at different levels.

Great list!
I definitely pole dance in my sleep. And in it I am freaking amazing! Then I wake up and realize it's another cold, dry daymaking leg grip impossible.
I'm also a big clutz and can't walk in my pole shoes. I have absolutely no co-ordination at all without my pole.
