I will be 45 in 2 weeks, been poling since 2013 and proudly, still a beginner! My progress is slow cause inverting scares me! Some moves I just won’t attempt because I know what my body can and cannot do. Veena’s lessons are the best, do them, over & over! I love IG challenges & there are tons of moves I can’t do, but, there’s a variation or prep move for EVERYTHING. I also go to a studio and I promise I’m the oldest in every class and although it is intimidating,I take it as a personal challenge to put myself out of my comfort zone,luckily the instructors and students are wonderful. I never excell as fast as my 20yr old classmates, but it’s ok. And I hope that maybe I inspire them a little to feel they will still be active at my age. Good luck with your pole journey

We had a ceiling fan with light in my pole room. Took that out, like Veena said, pole trumps light! The hole was perfect for my pole, the stuff was right there. I put white Xmas around the floor and it provides plenty of light. If you look at my IG you can see. Oh wait, I have like 6 posts 😛 lol. I’ll send some pics tomorrow

Papillon, initially, IG would remove per post, if they caught/identified the song. But this time they disabled my account entirely. I had already heard of this happening to others, a lot of yogis, then latinpoler. But honestly, in my stupidity, I just didn’t think it would happen to me. My account was not fancy or fabulous, just really special to me, lol. I struggle a lot, so everything was progress for me. I’m finally learning to flow more and have more tricks up my sleeve so I’ve been feeling the need to want to dance longer. I will just put them here. I have my Halloween run through performance, that I created myself and was really proud of. As for YouTube, I have no idea how to work it, it seems really complicated, lol. Who knows, it could have been a glitch as tropical stated, I just don’t really know. I do have a lot of my posts saved, but to just load them all up, I don’t know how I feel about doing that, sighs, I just feel pretty sad, I’m sure i’ll get over it soon like latinpoler 🙂 Thanks for letting me vent,guys

Latinpoler, I am just not feeling the non copyrighted music either, or I just don’t know how to search for what I’m feeling.
