I’m still here and continuing to do the challenge as well. I always watch the videos too to make sure I’m doing it right as well. When I do the twists I can kinda feel the air in my lungs being pushes out when I twist ts weird. The tucks will def prove to be the most challenging!

Have fun, it’s a BLAST!!

@Veena I love your comment about cellulite and being in the sun and dressing rooms.. you are so dead on there! ugh! The joys of being a women. Otherwise I can’t really comment on this post, I do not have the best eating habits at all, so hats off to you ladies with more self control than I have!

I take a bubble bath every single night! Very relaxing, and a small tip – add some epsom salt to the bath water, will make your bubbles last longer and bubble more! Great combo for a sore body after a workout as well. And this is coming from a girl with LOTS of stress in my life right now, the two things that keep me sane, Pole and bubble baths. Well I should mention great friends as well. 🙂

Thank you ladies that is the move! So I guess they are called Scorpio switches and it very much is like the dragon fly with the transition in between. Thank you all for the info and videos very helpful!!

I have heard of it being called the scorpio let switches but the video I saw they only moved their legs and didn’t rotate to belly, @frenchornprof – yes that was basically it, but how we are learning to do it is to start high and do them several times down the pole. it’s a cool move, I need to pick up speed.

yup it sure has happened to me. I try to keep practicing tricks I’ve learned and then going back to them again so I don’t forget, sometimes the simplest things like the gemini invert, I have to stop and think.. wait.. which one is that? And same with spins always forgetting spins because they are not nearly as fun as inverts. it will come back to you tho. just try and try again. 🙂

MemberMay 14, 2014 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Handspring help please 🙂 RE – My last vid!I noticed the same thing, the top arm is bent, you are to close to the pole, try to stand back and have top arm be fully extended, then reach low with bottom hand when you go to kick up and commit to allowing yourself to go upside down. it can be a scary move to do and sometimes hit or miss, but those few adjustments should help you. You can also try to bring your knees to your elbow when you first kick up to stabalize yourself then splay them out once you are balanced. I think the main issue tho is your top arm. Don’t give up! 🙂

@lilredrobinhood – I agree about spreading viruses around the studio I go to we wipe down with antibacterial wipes before and after each use to try and help cut some of that down. Otherwise if it’s a minor cold I still continue – fever or stomach viruses – no way!
